Rin peered at the young lad before her curiously, waving a hand directly before his face. He seemed to look right through her. Was there something troubling him, perhaps?

If this was Deus' he really had some sense of humor not putting him back where he was supposed to be. Then again if Akise can remember correctly, had he ended up back home in the end? If he had then how had he gotten here in the first place and how could he get back. There was something he needed to do, someone he needed to protect. The city seemed to have stations around, but they were merely for transporting the citizens around, they didn't seem to be able to leave the city. Was he.... stuck? Lost so deeply in his own thoughts he almost missed the sound of static.

It was interesting to hear the noise just go off like that, the entries wouldn't change for him unless.... The phone was in his hands in a matter of seconds flipped open to check what he diary had to say, if there was another Diary user around he'd need to be--

"Here?"

Eye lifted from the screen of his cellphone glancing up the sidewalk, and perhaps at the right moment too. A moment later and he would have lost that unmistakable beanie in the crowd and might have missed his chance. Jogging after him it was easy to catch up while the other was walking and he reached out for his arm once he was close enough.

"I would have never thought I'd see you here Yukiteru-kun."
