Stepping out of ones comfort zone is one of the most powerful things one can do to improve and experience the most amazing and memorable moments and by this I don't mean racing #alleycat 's, breaking the law and getting into trouble (maybe for some it is..). For me it was simply to get over my antisocialness to do what I love the most: ride a bike and capture the experience. It's funny how what comes naturally for most people is a daily grind for me, though I'm working on being more of a pack creature vs an lone wolf.., but anyway; commuting on the streets of Riga isn't hard, dangerous or scary despite the common myth. In fact most driver are really respectful and give you space and road when you need it. That's probably why lots of cyclists abuse it and end up getting fucked over by their own carelessness and lack of caution. Avoid being one of them, but if you play, make sure you're experienced. Sure, Riga isn't ideal for cyclists (with the lack of bike stands, cycle paths next to pedestrian's, shitty road surfaces), but we're pretty close and there's certainly no excuse why you can't make it from #Jugla to #Imanta by bike, #justpedal (at Tru Fix Kru)
