What is Tiny Neil's running speed? (Is he faster or slower than normal Neil?)
Neil: Definitely fast. The mini versions weight close to nothing, so he's for sure faster than me. He ends up running into bushes though.

He still remembers Matt wondering if Nicky could get through a major operation without anesthetic through the sheer power of a round of 'no, you hang up' with Erik.

Hello!! Can I get some Mafia Front for WW? 0 @jtl-fics

“I was surprised, too. Nicky’s usually a little slow.”
Neil drums his fingers against his thigh, unsure of what to say to that. Fortunately, Andrew doesn’t leave him time to say anything.
“You know, it’s sort of funny. Since I’ve seen Kevin and Moreau, I know who’s in charge of this place. And, thanks to that lovely stain on the floor, I know at least some of what goes on here.” Andrew sets his knife down and looks back up at Neil. “So almost everything adds up… except you.”
“Me?” Neil says, taken aback.
“Yes, you. I've rolled it around in my head and I just don't understand what you’re doing here,” Andrew says. “We've got a French guy and a sort-of celebrity. According to my cousin’s favorite crime-drama, you’re supposed to be a huge, ugly guy with a machine gun and a bad accent.”
Neil can’t help but laugh at that. “What, criminals can’t be good-looking?”
“I never said that,” Andrew says, meeting Neil’s eyes. “That would’ve been a heinous lie.”

Andrew knew that, if Nicky was asked about his wedding, he could go on and on and on about how it was a "perfect day," or how he'd "never forget a second," or a million other variations on the same words with the same sentiment. But Andrew also knew that Nicky would never admit that his dream day hadn't been up to the standards of his actual dreams, and that he was hiding that disappointment from himself as much as from everyone else.
Andrew had gone to Nicky and Erik's wedding. Yes, it had required that he be on board a flying death trap, [REDACTED] miles up in the air, for several hours. No, he hadn't slept at all on the flight, and no, he hadn't taken any medications that could have made him drowsy. For starters, they didn't work on him. Secondly, he hated that sensation of losing touch with his body. It had taken him so, so long for his body to feel like his own again. He'd fall asleep if his body wanted him to, and it hadn't.

Hello, I just re-read your lifeline fic and the 'they reunited earlier' offshoot you wrote and I just keep thinking about a scenario where Andrew didn't go to Millport so Neil never came to Palmetto but also Piggins still showed up to ask some questions because Neil still absolutely killed those guys.
Andrew realizing that he only ever gave one person that list and suddenly he knows Abram is alive, that he still cares about Andrew to this extent, but has no IDEA where Abram is or how to let Abram know where he is. Andrew figures the only way to get Abram is to let him see so Andrew puts his whole ass into a game takes press duty for the first time, and just says "I'm in Palmetto Abram."
The Striker who turned down Kevin Day is at the Court within 48 hours and Andrew has to deal with the fact that if he just dealt with a plane ride he would have had the best thing that ever happened to him MONTHS sooner.
Sorry about this! I just really adore lifeline and this thought wouldn't leave my head and needed to share it with the writer who put it here with their great writing! I hope all is going alright with you :)
Honestly, now you have it stuck in my head.
I can imagine the amount of absolute chaos this would bring to the whole team in different ways. Aaron knowing about Andrews past and then trying to figure out why Andrew is absolutely hellbent on winning every game he can, even if he has to do it single handedly, all while refusing to talk to him about it.
Kevin losing it when Neil shows up and completely ignores or outright antagonises him.
I could have a lot of fun with this. May I use it?
Oh! Oh! Can i see some Kevin & Jean? - @jtl-fics
heck yeah! people having drinks and processing their grief for someone who hurt them is kind of my brand. though the boys aren't quite there yet.
Jean snorts almost unwillingly and pours his shot down his throat as well. Kevin refills his glass for him.
Jean speaks while Kevin is still pouring. "Do you regret any of it?"
Kevin's hand jerks, spilling the vodka onto the table.

Andrew would also gladly welcome the fact that there was a significantly lower chance that someone might recognize him while on the trains in Europe than if he’d chosen to take public transport in the ‘States. Of course, there were still a considerable number of people on the train who would do a double-take when they saw him, or even worse, would simply stare when they spotted Neil. It was only natural, since their fluency in German had made them popular in German media during the last match-up between the American and German National Teams, so a few people nervously asked for photos and autographs.
That wasn’t what bothered him.
What truly got under his skin were the moments when someone spotted the scars that stretched across Neil’s face and grimaced, or flinched, or stared, or acted as if looking at him any further was contagious. Andrew felt that old, familiar, white-hot anger boil in his stomach whenever this happened, and had fought the urge to flatten them on the ground. Normally he would have succumbed to his temptations within five minutes, but he figured it would hinder their ability to arrive to Nicky’s wedding on time if he got arrested.

“The first three were all former foster parents of Andrew.” Piggins continued, unable to take a hint from the frosty office he’d admitted these things too. “No.” Aaron panicked, staring at Andrew in disbelief. “Andrew has never been…!” Wymack shifted his weight on the filing cabinet, reaching down to grab his trash can and passing it across Andrew in time for Aaron to grab it and spew a cascade of vile liquid into it, while Andrew pushed his chair onto its back legs and avoided all eye contact with those in the cramped office. Andrew knew who did this. The only person who had ever willingly gone to bat for him. A person he had mistakenly believed to be dead long ago; this was proof to the contrary. Except… Except that there was one name missing. - A prompt from Justthislazy, based on my original Lifeline, that I just had to pick up and run with. Thank you for the amazing idea!
