INTERVIEW WITH: Juule Kay
I recently caught up with the lovely Juule, from Berlin, who runs the fashion blog, A Pretty Pass. At just 18, Juule and her Lookbook and blog have been featured in several publications and collected a loyal following. I fell in love with Juule's sense of style and thought you would too!
What inspired you to start blogging and posting your outfits on Lookbook?
I read a lot of blogs and one day I decided to start my own one with the hope to inspire people with it, Lookbook was pretty the same...I was so inspired by all the looks from people around the world that I started to create an account and hoping for some feedback.
How would you describe your style?
In my opinion, it's really difficult to describe one's own style because it absolutely depends on my mood. I would say: romatic/dreamy with an edgy/rocknroll touch or exactly the other way round, haha.
What is your favourite item in your wardrobe?
Hmm, I think I can´t live without my Doc Martens because you can combine them with pretty everything and they are very comfy.
Are you surprised by the success and popularity of your blog and Lookbook?
TOTALLY! I never thought it would be that known and I am so happy about every single reader.
Who or what inspires your outfits?
Everything can be inspiring, streetstyle, tumblr, lookbook pictures, blogs, magazines or art! I just stand in front of my wardrobe and put some items together, it totally depends on my mood which ones I choose, sometimes I look in the mirror and think, hmm no this looks awful haha.
What is your number one style tip?
Just wear what you like because you have to feel what you are wearing! It´s not just fashion, fashion is what you create yourself.
