He has android PTSD. He’ll wake up from horrible nightmares of when 17 and 18 were absorbed by Cell. 16 goes to Dr. Brief about it but Brief can’t find an explanation as to how 16 can be dreaming at all.

If 16 were human, he’d be vegan. But he respects that his family likes meat, and he likes fake meat.

Without knowing it, 16 had a crush on 18 and her lose by being absorbed by Cell hit him really hard. He spent his time at Capsule Corp. thinking about it all the time.

The reason he never came around to visit 18 and the others was because he didn’t want to be a burden to her and her new family.
