My surprise Good Read of 2016 was The Thin Executioner by Darren Shan. My question for you is: what would you recommend to someone who has been in a reading slump for a year?
Jule: Re-read an old favorite to get back into the medium of books. Or read something you usually don’t - poetry, short stories, or a really long epic saga if you are normally more into short fiction. Some creative, original, innovative concept or topic might also spark your enthusiasm for book again.
Alice: I had a six-month reading slump last year. So I switched to graphic novels for a while. They combine catchy stories that hook you in from page one, bright colours, and some awesome artwork that just blows your mind.
