Guess who’s back on her double duty and double the fun, obviously. Because I love a challenge and on a personal level, I love to suffer cuz of the plot… “The Pink Rope” is on double feature time once again. Today’s guest is a AEW OG, a former cheerful queen turned goth baddie. She’s the wonderful @jvliahcrt 🖤 Below here’s some highlights of our convo. I had a blast and I’m truly lucky to do what I do. LW: In a short amount of time and in a brilliant way, you established yourself as a true AEW OG. Your contribution to the program had been fundamental. Do you ser yourself as a mentor and a locker room leader?

JH: Oh, wow, thank you so much. I don't know if I feel like I'm at the level yet where I'm ready to be a mentor or locker room leader. In so many ways I truly do feel like I'm still learning, I'm still mastering my craft. I don't know when that time will come where … where I feel like I've got enough experience under my belt to hold that kind of responsibility. I will say I feel like I have learned a lot and the major difference now from when I started or being in House of Black is I feel less like only a student … I feel like I've grown enough now that I feel really equal with my stable mates. I feel like we can learn from each other at this point.

LW: Not to be controversial but if you could pick just one… Sisters of Sin or Triangle of Madness?

JW: Don't do this to me !! Oh god, how do I even answer that … I feel like me and skye came first together you know, like what we've built feels really good. Really connected to her in and out of the ring, tex does her thing and we do ours but we have each others back you know … you're gonna get me in trouble asking things like that !!

LW: You manage to still look fashionable but edgy. Is there someone you take inspiration for your persona, fashion, personality wise?

JH: You're too sweet, thank you. I feel like in the ring my style is like really inspired by grungey girls, rock girls … there's so much inspiration from early avril, faith from buffy the vampire slayer. I love when girls are hot, scary, badass and don't give a fu- don't give an eff … can I curse? My bad. That's absolutely where all my inspiration comes from.
