It was a special day for Sejin, seeing that someone he deemed fit finally responded to his ad. Currently, the store only had a single part-time employee whom he could barely stand to work with. Honestly, the man kept him around because he had no other choice, putting up with the constant sass in order to utilize the additional help. It’d be a blessing for him if the candidate were to ace the interview, not that he wasn’t ready to hire someone new on the spot.
The name on the application read Jamie Pierce, which was coincidentally the name of a girl he once knew, drawing a chuckle from his lips. Sejin was never one to concern himself with relationships prior to his marriage, but that Jamie was one he admittedly had a schoolboy crush on before being forced to leave his life in the U.S. behind. He brushed off the idea of that she was the same Jamie, the name was a common one anyway.
The familiar ringing from the door suggested that the expected person had arrived; prompting Sejin to rise and check on whoever was out there.
