I have to admit as someone with their lagna in Jyestha - this nakshatra often gets a terrible rap (even by ever-pragmatic Vedic standards). But to call in mind a quote, once you're put on a pedestal, there's nowhere to go but a pit.
Indra is often shown in stories to be arrogant, petty, tempestuous, and a sore loser, serving as a startling allegory to other thunder gods such as Zeus and Jupiter. Unlike the puranic Trinity, Indra is constrained by the rules of karma. He's just a person, regardless of his throne or strength or gifts. This means that his actions are inevitably controlled by his emotions and the consequences of his actions, similarly to how all other people in high positions of power are fallible.
However, there is a great deal of good that Jyesthas are capable of. Ruled by Budha, Jyestha nativities understand the barebones of communication itself. Charismatic by nature, an immense crop of Jyestha politicians, cultural leaders, revolutionaries (e.g. Simone de Beauvoir) have this nakshatra, consistently keeping the ball rolling forward.
Nevertheless, It's very easy to think of yourself as untouchable once you've signed enough deals, made enough money, received enough adoration. But even the mightiest towers fall, and Jyestha placements would do well to take heed of that. Indra, known soma-guzzler and womanizer, faced harsh setbacks because of his greed and general piggishness. A good dose of humility and abstinence can be a lifesaver for this Scorpio placement. Not to be crude, but nothing good has ever come from thinking life is a d***-measuring contest. To summarize, Jyesthas can build empires or tear them down, but their biggest ally and enemy is their ego.
