jyrus picnic date headcanons:
for day one of jyrus week @jyrusweek2019
surprisingly enough, it's jonah who thinks of it
his mom is telling him about the time his dad surprised her with a picnic
and he's immediately like, would cyrus like that???
and then he's like, wait this would be the perfect way to confess
he makes a picnic basket with his mom's help, with food both he and cyrus like
he asks cyrus if he wants to hang out in the park and then he takes out the blanket from his backpack and he's like 'ta da~'
cyrus's face is so worth all the heavy stuff he had to lug in his backpack (man, food is heavier than it looks)
cyrus: "i didn't peg you for a picnic guy" jonah: "i thought you'd like it"
cyrus is freaking out the entire time bc is this regular bro stuff?????????
they totally do the 'you have something on your face' thing
they're sitting next to each other and cyrus is talking about something that happened in class when jonah looks over at him and he's just overcome with how much he likes him
he just blurts it out
cyrus looks at him for a second, confused, before he processes it
jonah braces himself for a rejection, but cyrus just smiles at him, "me too"
then they get married and live happily ever after :D
