Translation Notes: * Jûgoya (十五夜) is Japan’s traditional harvest moon celebration, when people enjoy viewing the full moon in autumn. It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the traditional Japanese lunar calendar, usually in September or early October. ** Taki also labeled the moon and rabbit he drew as うさぎ (usagi / rabbit) and 月 (tsuki / moon). *** Tsukimi (月見) means moon-viewing, and is similar to 花見 (hanami), when people go view the cherry blossoms in spring. **** Dango (団子) is a type of round dumpling made from a mix of glutinous and regular rice flour, often served in sets of three or five on bamboo skewers. ***** The sound effects Maki wrote in next to the stacked plate of dango in the back translates loosely to "!!!!!!", and our translators believe it may be intentionally written to look like the same font for the same sound effect used in the manga for Jojo's Bizzare Adventure. In this context it isn't so much a sound as an intense background noise to hype up the idea of the subject (in this case, the dango).
