THIS IS HARD mostly because I guess as a system our favourites change on an hourly basis. It's been 33 years and we still can't agree on what the best colour is. For example, I hate red but T loves it.

🐈‍⬛: Takhi / Przewalski's wild horse / the Mongolian wild horse. The only true wild horse left in the wild, it was declared extinct outside of captivity for over 30 years since 1969, but thanks to breeding programs and re-release, the species was re-designated as critically endangered in 2008 and endangered in 2011. It's one of the feel-good stories of how community efforts to save a species can actually do so, and for a good cause, because these fuckers are so fluffy.

My local(est) zoo, Korkeasaari in Helsinki (that we now have an all-year access card to!!), has a herd of them and recently released two horses back into the wild. There's also a wild herd in Chornobyl, Ukraine, which... there's a story to that, but I've failed to educate myself on how that happened exactly and why.

🌻: Traditionally, the sunflower, as a sign of perseverance and hope, and because it reminds me of my brother-in-spirit. More recently, the purple tansy: we've been rewilding our backyard, and tansies are included in many of the seed packets to grow beneficial flowers for bees and butterflies. They're not native to Finland (they originate in the Americas), but they're not invasive, and after watching literally everything love these flowers throughout the summer this past year, and how they just keep sprouting flower stem after flower stem month after month with no break, we've fallen in love. What an amazing flower.

🥦: I have veggie aversion. 90% of them are horrible to me. They want to make me itch or they want to make my stomach hurt and we have a difficult relationship. HOWEVER I love cauliflower smush. It's like mashed potatoes but cauliflower. You can also do the fake chicken wing thing with cauliflowers which is delicious. Cauliflower is not IBS friendly, so cauliflower is also horrible to me, but it is tasty and delicious. Potato is the best veggie however. Versatile, friendly, and does not hurt me. Great boiled, then later boiled potato leftovers can be turned into oven potato slices with herbs and spices. Mash potat is great. Fresh new spring potat with butter is the food of the gods. Best part? If I dunk a few random potat in my yard in the spring, I get a FUCKLOAD of potat in return in the fall. And they require 0 upkeep, they just kind of grow there.

😈: I've had to take a deep dive to clarify for myself what, exactly, a poor little meow meow is and how that differs from a blorbo, because frankly, I've managed to miss out on having generally agreed-upon meow meows versus having plenty of blorbos and cinnamon rolls to go around. I also think that, in the light of this clarification, a lot of my cinnamon rolls are secretly meow meows.

"Poor little meow meow" is a phrase used to describe a fictional character viewed as both deeply problematic and worthy of sympathy. This could mean a morally-grey or villainous woobie, or a character whose negative aspects are seen as making them tragic, miserable, or pathetic.

This is literally everybody I have ever stanned, aside from maybe, uh. I don't know, Sam Winchester was pretty universally just a cinnamon roll, aside from the blood drinking. God, that was a long time ago. No wait Quinn is a true pure cinnamon roll as well. This is not what you asked.

Now, I'm trying real hard to put aside the fact that our entire mental health recovery blog is currently centered around two sadistic, tyrannical Roman Emperors who literally get off on seeing people die, but I can't. Geta and Caracalla fit this category like a fist in the eye and no matter you say, any suffering and starvation and genocide and general oppression of the peoples either under or outside of their own rule? Justified, understandable, reasonable considering their own upbringing and circumstances. I'd go to war for them, I'd defend them in the court of law, I don't care. These are my fucking sons and I would die for them

We’re trying on Rainy Day System right now. 🍼 Does your system have any Littles? We do! Two of them, though one is more of a fragment of the other than a full little on her own. She was spat out recently when the “original” little couldn’t handle something on his own. They were originally a genderless mush of a child, but the split caused the original one to take on a male identity and the new one a female one, which I find interesting.

💚 Does your system have any Fictives? Some! But they prefer to be left unidentified.

👢 Who has the best fashion sense? J. Kind of a relaxed office/formal wear type, I really appreciate it personally. I’m a fashion disaster so it’s nice somebody around here has more of a grasp on it. Not sure how that looks on our body, but it looks good on him, so.
