greetings to the kaput & zösky fandom (all 5 of them)

Finally posting fanart for this series! It's been sitting almost finished in my art program since February, my drawing style for these two has changed since then but I figured I should touch it up a bit anyways so I can finally post it somewhere. (Rambling about K&Z and my art under the cut)

I've been into the show for about 2 years now, but I'm only now getting around to making art for it because I didn't actually finish it until the end of last year. (funnily enough mario & luigi got me back into it, will explain in another post of art i have later)

I made the sketch in January for fun, never intended to fully render it so Kaput and Zösky are more stylized than how I normally drew them at the time. I didn't like the way it was turning out so it sat unfinished in my gallery for months. I still don't like it that much, especially since the way I draw them now doesn't really look like this anymore, but eh whatever I guess.

I will definitely be posting more later! I've got several WIPs and a few things that are almost/already finished. Might also post misc stuff about K&Z since this isn't exclusively an art account and it's such an obscure series that there isn't really a lot of discussion around it (from what I've found at least). I apologize to everyone who follows me for something else and has no idea what this is. These evil aliens have been stuck in my brain consecutively all year and I don't know why. help

i’m absolutely heartbroken. words can’t even touch the surface of the ache that has been in my chest. i’ve been desperately holding on to hope that it would go away and things might go back to normal but today it was finalized that it won’t. i don’t know what to think or how to feel and i’m going to have to use every coping skill i have ever learned to even at least attempt to move forward

Kaput & Zösky animation yippee!! Also another thing I've had basically done for months (March) but only now got around to posting. I started this as a silly thing while in the middle of a different animation (also K&Z related, still a WIP) and I ended up liking it way more than expected so I put this together in a few days. The art is kinda messy since this wasn't supposed to be serious or anything but ah well... The only changes I made before posting were slight edits to the animation/timing and adding the doodle in the outro. (sorry if change in style is noticeable)

Part of the reason I made this is because I've yet to see any fan animations for this series, so I wanted to make one! The other reason is because I thought the idea of making an animation of Kaput and Zösky with a silly cutesy song would be funny given how comically evil they are. This might be out-of-character? I based it on the ending of Kaput Is Indisposed because I think about Zösky's reaction to Kaput being himself again a little too much. Their relationship is very sweet to me :] I see this as ship art but I suppose it can be viewed as platonic too? Or a secret third thing, whatever they are in the show idk

Also just for fun, here's the thumbnail I made for the YouTube upload. I finished this today and I'm ngl I couldn't get it to turn out how I wanted which is why I'm putting it under the cut instead. Oh welllll
