I can’t believe it’s been 15 years since the debut of Flapjack! I wanted to make a comic showing Flapjack and K’nuckles’ first meeting, so here it is. This was a lot of work, but a lot of fun =)

he's so interesting to me there's so much symbolizm in this one aaaaaa the lil connection between Donny's blood and the sea is intentional. both because of the promise that if he keeps supoorting the "wrong side" the sea will run red with his blood, but also because half his bloodline died in the sea , generational curse you see , but also ALSO the whole "eye for an eye" bullshit Scallywag kept going on with every crew she has a personal beef with.

the second one is more of "these fuckers keep bullying me ,sponge me boy ."
