OPERATION COLD ANGEL has come to a close. a former Marine named Rhodes (who had worked with Delta Green on the ill-fated night at the opera in Cambodia that resulted in the official program getting shut down) was deliberately infested with an Insect from Shaggai to enhance his psychic abilities. he led K-Cell around San Francisco by the nose with a series of increasingly bizarre, seemingly self-inflicted, murders until we finally ended up in some kind of extradimensional office space underneath a building on the Stanford Research Institute campus.

there were grey aliens down there? as well as a bunch of remnants of K-Cell's former operations, like a man named Nolan Elliot who was the mastermind behind OPERATION SILENT MOUNTAIN's plot to create a bridge between worlds in 1966. who was also supposed to be dead under a pile of rubble in West Virginia with his brain and spine removed. Kit got shot after chasing him down when Elliot grabbed him suddenly and Billie panic-fired her gun towards both of them.

finally we found Rhodes in a darkened lab next to a mysterious trumpet-shaped mechanism. he was just standing there. suddenly Kit felt a memory resurfacing. Rhodes whispering something in his ear, guiding his hand. it was all leading to this moment. he felt himself walk over to Rhodes, smoothly level his revolver at his head, and fire.
