Yesterday we celebrated the life of one of the best rappers Kenya has ever produced. And believe me you, most of us didn’t live at his time but he speaks to us through his music. To those who did live during his time, his memories bring back memories of other artistes who the local industry has lost over the years. Let’s revisit a few.

K-rupt: Just be mindful of others.

Just because you like one or two aspect/genre of a specific country, it doesn't mean that you are immediately an expect about that country's culture. 

Appreciation or being excited about the topic is one thing, while claiming that you know everything due to you 'exposure" are completely opposite.

Please don't assume that just because they are from the country of your interest, they do certain things or have similar interest. Maybe your assumptions are correct, and sometimes their wrong.

I'm 99.928374% sure that they would much rather you come up and talk to them because you want to get to know them for themselves, instead of talking to them because you expected to meet a fellow fan(or whatever).

Just be mindful of others.
