Kirby was still dealing with the bombshell of Rory’s friend October being their father, someone they’ve been around a little and was at least somewhat familiar with who he was. Rory didn’t mention all of their siblings names, just the ones he knew the names of since they’d asked but he did say that they’d have the similar heterochromia that they had. Kirby was out walking when they’d accidentally bumped into that cop Connor except he wasn’t on duty at that moment.

Connor accused them of doing it on purpose, saying it was because they didn’t like him which only angered Kirby because they didn’t and tried to explain that. They got in his face the more he tried to say it was, looking into the others eyes as he spotted the familiar ring. It made them panic, shoving Connor back without explanation. “I- sorry..” Kirby mumbled. They didn’t know why that was the reaction they had but they didn’t want to stick around to find out why so they ignored the other and what he was saying to walk away from him now.

Abrupt: Chai gives Kermie a kiss on the cheek because she loves them 😌

Chai was like a little sister to Kirby, which they were still getting used to the fact they have actual sisters now. They could always look to them for a listening ear or unwanted advice (which they’d sometimes listen to).

They were walking Chai home after their shift at the bar, it was an earlier shift so they didn’t have to rush home to beat curfew and could actually enjoy the conversation as they walked. When they got to their place Chai had unexpectedly kissed Kirby on the cheek making them freeze in their tracks. They blinked as they looked at her before pulling her into a tight hug and messed up their hair playfully. They laughed as they pulled away, Chai glaring at them for messing up her hair before Kirby did it one more time for good measure. “Night sis,” They teased before turning to walk away so Chai couldn’t retaliate.

Junior and Kirby met at their usual spot to hang out and Junior had decided to teach them another board game. It was simple and didn't take long to grasp the concept of how it was played as they both laughed at the attempts Kirby was making. A few rounds go by, Junior winning them each time making them kick in the competitive gears a little when they finally fully understood how to play. 

By the next round Kirby had finally won and threw their arms up in celebration, Junior reaching over to ruffling their hair almost like a brother would do. It made them smile before they both finally calmed down to set up the game for another round.
