This was my first needle felting project! i broke off about 4 needles in this bad boy. Its a shiny cutiefly for my friend who runs the blog of a very buff bug (;

I learned: you can felt with [almost] any loose fiber, pillow stuffing is incredibly hard to needle felt it took a lot of muscle, and the softer the Styrofoam the less needles will break

I’ll start off with a messy headshot of Dolores from Westworld, I did this in late 2016/early 2017 when the first season was airing on HBO! I’ve always loved Evan Rachel Wood, even if I didn’t know who she was when Across the Universe was my favorite movie, when I finally connected the dots is when I decided “OKAY I HAVE TO PAINT HER”
