Hello!!! I’m K.83 (pronounced Katie) and I’m making this blog as a space to post my progress on my minis and talking about my journey as a model painter.
I’ve been painting miniatures since about 2018, starting with the space marines from the warhammer 40k 8th edition first strike set. They were not very good but i did my best ^w^
All things considered, they’re not bad for a first try. Didn’t have primer and i didn’t try to edge highlight because my hands were too shaky but the paint had a good thinness and i didn’t overdo anything.
I also learned from day one that i HATE basing. No matter how fancy or how simple i do it, basing is always the worst part of painting the mini so i just don’t lol.
Nowadays I’d like to think I’m a lot better
Even if it doesn’t always work out, I’m always trying new things to improve my skills.
As you can see by my lineup, I paint a lot of vampire counts and iron warriors, but also collect adeptus mechanicus, and I’ll paint about anything I can get my hands on!
These kingdom death minis are my favorite things that i’ve painted. The one on the left is where i really figured out how to paint skin, and the one on the right is a silly hatsune miku thing ^w^
