I wouldn't say I ever loved math nor was I particularly good at it. But I made the choice to progress to AP Calculus in high school because I enjoyed how it challenged me think in a new and different way.
People act like math is the biggest waste of time when they could be having classes on, say, how to interact with people... and yet they proclaim that the American school system is making us all into mindless zombies. Hmm. I wonder why that might be so.
