Fabian wants to groan. He wants to complain or protest or something because he truly does hate dancing. And he knows exactly what is coming next, because this is KT and even if he wants to say no...

It’s KT.

So when she grabs his arm and drags him onto the dance floor, he doesn’t grumble - much - and when she throws her arms into the air, Fabian doesn’t make a snappy comment.

In fact, he might even smile.

Especially when the song slows down and her arms fall onto his shoulders. Naturally, he has to pull her closer, especially when her eyes are shining on him and her smile is so bright. 

Fabian wants to complain when KT sways in rhythm with him, makes him move too, but honestly? He doesn’t mind at all.

could you do like a follow up of the last kabian thing? like maybe where fabians not a sinner any more and he cant remember anything and kt brings up that he kissed her? :)

Note: (This is a sequel to Insane.) HAPPY BIRTHDAY LAURA!!!! I love you so much and it’s ridiculous to me that you’re now 17. It’s not necessarily a good year, but you can make it so. And you probably will because you’re awesome like that. (Plus, you can watch R-rated movies now! …not that you didn’t before or anything. But, like, legally.) Here, have some Fabian/KT because you put up with me - and I guess, it is my fault you ship them in the first place.

Lucid

            When they return to the house, KT immediately follows Alfie and Mara to the kitchen, hoping to snag the last of the marshmallows. Fireworks still dance behind her eyes, but her fingers are too numb, and her toes too cold, for her to enjoy the giggling she hears around her. Jerome and Joy stay in the hallway, holding hands, and Eddie and Patricia bicker on the couch.

            “KT?”

            She finds the marshmallows hidden in the back of the pantry, the bag still unopened. Popping a few in her mouth, she offers Fabian the bag. “What’s up?”

            “I wanted to ask you something,” he says, taking his time as he reaches for the marshmallows, as if gathering his thoughts. KT frowns, chewing slowly, watching the gears turn in Fabian’s mind. “So you know that I can’t really remember everything – from, well, you know – “

            The butterflies flitter in her stomach; KT forces herself to smile. “Right,” she says. “What about it?”

            “Joy told me about what I said to her,” he says, his eyes stuck on the half-eaten sweet in his hand. “And after I apologized, I started wondering if – “ He sighs, glancing over to Mara and Alfie, both who slip out of the kitchen with steaming mugs in their hands. “If I did anything else – bad.”

            “Fabian,” says KT with a tiny smile, “you were a sinner. Of course you did things that were bad.” But the dullness in his eyes and his frown persist; KT squeezes his shoulder gently. “But it’s okay Fabian, we all know it wasn’t you.” Even though there’s still sugar lining her tongue, everything tastes incredibly bitter. She smiles, ignoring thoughts of pinecones and fire and tingling on her lips. “You didn’t mean what you said – or what you did.”

            But Fabian stares at her, eyes narrowed. “KT – did I do something to you?”

            “Fabian – “

            “KT,” he says, stepping closer and lowering his voice. “Please. I want to know.”

            She hesitates because his eyes are soft and his lips are red and without the usual space between them, KT can imagine him kissing her again. But she also hesitates because the lines around his eyes are dark and the corners of his mouth tilt downwards. And then she sighs, closes her eyes, and takes in a deep breath. “You told me you loved Nina.”

            “I know, I told you that before – “

            “So when you kissed me I knew you were a sinner,” she says quickly, hoping that maybe she can swallow a word or two and Fabian will mishear her and then KT won’t have to live with the embarrassment and the awkwardness won’t take over their friendship –

            But Fabian only raises an eyebrow. “I kissed you,” he says, flatly. It’s a statement of fact, not a question, but KT nods anyway. “Oh.”

            “Yeah.”

            The silence is heavy and awkward and stifling and unsettling, and KT refuses to look at him; she slips past him instead, grabbing the milk and hot chocolate mix left on the counter, mixing herself a cup. Even as she stirs, dropping marshmallows on top, KT feels Fabian staring at her.

            “You said you figured out I was a sinner. Because I kissed you.” KT licks her stirring spoon and nods. “How did you – “

            “You still love Nina – you couldn’t have – you wouldn’t have wanted to kiss me unless you wanted to distract me, or – exploit whatever weaknesses I had – because, you know,” say KT, dumping the spoon in the sink and taking a sip of her hot chocolate. With hot liquid scalding her tongue, she hopes her explanation is enough. When Fabian continues to say nothing, KT finally looks up.

            He’s staring at her. But his eyes burn; they are flashing red again, but this time it’s warm and tinged with yellow and orange. Even with milk running down her throat, her mouth feels dry; her stomach burns and even though she’s frozen, KT feels like she’s on fire.

            Fabian takes a step towards and KT lowers her cup onto the counter. “Eddie told me that when we became sinners, we weren’t possessed,” he says, his eyes never leaving hers. “We just lost our conscience – our sense of right and wrong.” His voice almost cracks and even though KT wants to say something – or run away or change the topic or just get out the situation entirely – she can’t. “Those sarcophagi took away our inhibitions.”

            KT swallows. “Fabian – you don’t have to pretend – “

            And then, once again, Fabian narrows the distance between them all of a sudden; he’s kissing her – again – and while it’s not as intense as the first time, the fire is stronger in her chest. His lips are warm and he tastes of marshmallows and his cool fingers caress her face. She’s completely lucid when his teeth graze her bottom lip, and she only pulls back when he separates their lips.

“Just because I wouldn’t have done it doesn’t mean I didn’t want to, KT,” says Fabian, his hand sliding down her arm before falling at his own side.

The tingling is everywhere, but the nagging itch in the back of her mind begs attention. “You’re sure you’re doing this because you like me,” she says, her eyes narrowed slightly, suppressing the urge to cross her arms over her chest. KT forces herself to stand straight. “And not because you want to move on?”

“KT,” says Fabian, with a small smile that settles most of the chaos raging in her chest, “I’m ready.”

“Okay.”

(This time, KT kisses him. Eddie wolf-whistles when he runs into them leaving the kitchen, holding hands.)

kabian. and tom/shannon, tom/maddy, tom/jana. cause instead of everyone/everyone, i'll just ask you tom/the main girls. i guess :)

LAURA.

Fabian/KT: HAHAHAHAHHA OKAY

Fabian is heartbroken when Nina leaves, and KT just wants to figure out what the hell she’s doing at Anubis house. At first, Fabian jumps down her throat because Eddie’s choosing KT over everyone else (over Nina) and she’s trying to replace Nina (which is ironic in itself because who was the one who befriended the new girl the first time around, even though he was also best friends with the girl she replaced?). Fabian doesn’t trust her, and he tells her - and KT is PISSED. Because KT values loyalty and trust and friendship over pretty much everything else - so to have her strongest quality questioned hurts.

And then - and then KT starts doubting herself and Fabian’s natural instinct to be kind comes through. To be dependable and sturdy - Fabian’s the rock. So he promises to help KT, and starts to trust her, and they get sassy and team up against Eddie.

Fabian/KT are a story of trust.

Because once they trust each other, the only thing that breaks it is some well-placed lies and one of their own “turning” on them. And who’s the one who looks guilty when they ostracize KT? Fabian. Who’s the one who questions what they’re doing to her? Fabian. Who’s the one who immediately runs to her the moment he has doubts? Fabian.

And then - who does he call when the enemy ends up on his doorstep? KT. And who drops EVERYTHING - she was about to run away because no one trusted her - to come back, because she realizes that Sibuna needs her (they wouldn’t let her do it alone - Fabian wouldn’t let her do it alone) - Fabian needs her. So KT comes back. And spends the entire motherfucking episode looking for him.

AND THEN WHEN HE TURNS EVIL HE USES THE ONE THING KT TREASURES ABOVE ALL ELSE AGAINST HER - TRUST.

JUST KILL ME NOW.

Basically Fabian/KT had wonderful build-up, all the way through House of Heartbreak and then the last week of episodes happened and whatever. POINT IS: Fabian/KT is what happens when a guy with a broken heart lashes out and someone who didn’t want to ends up helping put the pieces back together. How two people with different goals - Fabian wants to save the world from this great evil, and KT just wants family - can come together to fulfill both. 

AND THEY’RE JUST SO SASSY OKAY AND THEY GET EACH OTHER. Because KT isn’t Nina, she’s not Mara or Joy - she’s KT and Fabian is Fabian and when they get together because Mara and Fabian are going to different universities and KT doesn’t know what she wants to do, she unconsciously follows Fabian where he goes because once again, their goals align and this time, both are sure enough to let their differing goals actually become the same one - because they trust it’ll work out in the end.

…oh right there’s more. great.

Tom/Shannon: I think I just wore myself out on Fabian/KT but whatever HERE GOES.

Tom has had a crush on Maddy for ages, but Shannon’s just his geeky best friend who has crazy theories and love to take pictures. He really just puts up with her because of Maddy - but it’s like a gradual thing, because one day he wakes up and realizes - wait a minute, Shannon’s my friend too. And Tom realizes that Shannon is fun to talk to, and he can bicker with her, and she’s really hurting and she’s pretty and has a great voice. And Shannon’s spent so long focusing on Maddy and wolfbloods and Tom crushing on Maddy that she doesn’t realize that when everything’s shifting, so is Tom’s feelings and basically THEY ARE MARRIED AND THEY ARE ADORABLE and it’s one of those things where they wake up one day and realize that they’re already married, whoops.

Tom/Maddy: Maddy is fun and bubbly and bright and Tom’s attracted like moth to flame. It’s a first-class case of a crush, of liking this ideal, because even though they’re friends, Tom doesn’t see Maddy as Maddy so much as this great girl who should totally date him because he’s her friend. But he learns and Rhydian helps and basically A+

Tom/Jana: Honestly, I wouldn’t mind one bit if this happened because TOM and JANA and I feel like together, Tom can be her human and Tom gets his wolfblood but TWIST (wait this is giving me Kyle/Tess parallels oh my god) basically I’d totally want it to happen, especially if it freaks Rhydian/Maddy out because fun stuff. But Tom/Shannon and Jimi/Jana but whatever they’re great too
