Ya’ll might notice some updates to the fic in the meantime...’cuz I’m going through and cleaning shit up. I’m ALSO making an executive decision and changing the Reader’s Last name from [Last Name] to Tatsuma, because let’s face it--It’s more plausible that she’d change her last name to her Chosen Family over anything else and it’s going to also save me from writing [Last Name] out a thousand times and disrupting flow of dialogue anymore than I have to.
It shouldn’t change a whole lot story-wise, and it makes a hell of a lot more sense. But I’m still not changing the whole [First Name] thing--though you’ll notice I do try to minimize it’s use, which is honestly something that’s rough with ANY 2nd person story where you’re ‘inserting’ the reader/haven’t named them specifically.
(Lowkey tho’ if ya’ll got any suggestions barring naming the Reader which I won’t do, I’m open for suggestions).
