Happy Kristanna Chirstmas in July @generaldisdainn! Tis I! You’re secret Santa! I couldn’t settle on what to draw for you until like 2 days ago, but I finally settled for an impromptu tickle fight! Loosely inspired by your collab fic Four of a Kind!
My Secret Santa gift for @michaelakuntzmann!
I just love your “Curveballs” fic so I drew Anna, Kristoff and August celebrating after the game. It’s not fully rendered for there wasn’t a lot of time, but I hope you like it!🤗🤗🤗
(this is the first time I actually finished a ka piece abhsjshdsbdnj)
Mandatory Relaxation
Happy Kristanna Christmas in July @somecallmejohn !! I’m your secret santa! :D Your suggestion was Kristoff being a goofball and Kristoff and Anna spending the day together in canonverse, so that’s what I tried to do!!! There isn’t too much plot- just a sweet snapshot of their day spent together. :-) I hope you like it!!! <3 <3 <3

Pairing: Kristanna
Word count: 2780
Kristoff hated watching Anna spread herself too thin. He could always see it coming- the frantic energy, the tired eyes- it all pointed to her over-expending herself.
He knew that assuming the role of queen meant more responsibilities and less free time for the two of them to spend together, but he felt that lately she hardly had any time at all. She was a brilliant queen, and Kristoff watched the way she ruled with reverence every day. He whispered how proud he was of her into her skin each night as they cuddled close. But lately she had seemed so tired. She was doing too much all out of the goodness of her heart. A neighboring kingdom had been dealing with a food shortage, and Anna was working diligently to figure out a way to allocate food and supplies to this struggling kingdom while still making sure that her people were taken care of. It was impossible to make everyone happy in situations like these, and he knew how much she hated disappointing people.
She had finally come to a consensus with her advisors and the officials of the struggling kingdom, but the whole ordeal had left her tired and spent. He could tell in the way she carried herself, in the soft shyness with which her usually bright smile now tugged at her lips. It was why Kristoff decided to take it upon himself to help her relax.
***
Anna awoke in the morning to heavy eyelids and a sore back. Despite the general aches and pains, she noticed that she felt surprisingly rested. Her mind was agile and ready for the day. It was refreshing. She opened her eyes and stretched against the morning sun, noting the way in which it crawled higher up the wall than what she was accustomed to seeing. She jolted at the sudden realization. There was way too much sun for it to be the time she usually awoke.
“Kristoff, what time is it?” She glanced around the room in frantic search of her fiance. The bed next to her was empty. “Kristoff?”
Kristoff emerged from the bathroom and made his way over to the bed, a soft smile splayed across his face. “Morning, beautiful.” He reached over to embrace her, lips pursed to place a gentle kiss on her temple, but Anna pulled away, tugging at the covers and moving to get out of bed.
“What time is it?”
“Sometime around noon,” he admitted sheepishly.
“What?! Kristoff, I had a meeting at 8 this morning! Kai was supposed to wake me up hours ago!”
Kristoff placed a hand on her arm to still her sudden movements. “Hey, easy feisty-pants. I called off your meetings today.”
“You what?”
Kristoff took a breath. “Anna, you’re exhausted. You haven’t had a break in weeks. You’ve been doing so much, and you know how proud I am of you, but you really need a break.”
Anna hummed thoughtfully. The anxious stutter of her breath calmed as she looked at the soft brown of her fiance’s eyes. She realized she suddenly had nowhere she needed to be. Relief washed over for a moment as she relaxed into his touch.
“Besides, I’ve missed spending time with you,” Kristoff added. He placed his lips to hers and she smiled against him. She loved the feel of him in the mornings- scratchy stubble and soft lips bringing her eagerly into her day.
“So everything’s cancelled for today?” she finally asked after they pulled apart.
Kristoff nodded.
“And no one’s upset?”
“No, Anna, not at all. Kai and Gerda thought that this was a great idea and were actually really excited. And they said everyone they talked to understood.”
Anna nodded slowly. “So we have a free day together then?”
Kristoff smiled and took her hand. “It’s all ours.”

They picked fruit from the garden for a late breakfast, letting the juice from nectarines run down their chins and kissing the remnants of the fruit off of each other’s lips.
“We should do a picnic for lunch,” Anna suggested.
Kristoff nodded in agreement.
“I can have the cooks make something for us,” she said.
“I have a better idea.”
Kristoff led Anna into the town after grabbing a picnic basket and money from the castle. He intended to walk through town with her and purchase food for their picnic from the townspeople. He held Anna’s hand as they walked down the castle steps. He guided her, holding her as she held up the flowing fabric of her skirts to walk into the square. She was stunning. Her hair glowed in the warm rays of the sun.
He brought her to stands and carts where people sold fresh foods and hand-crafted items. Kristoff bought food for their basket as they went. He tipped each person generously. One of his favorite things about being a part of the royal family now was having the means to tip so generously. When he was a young ice harvester, he never had enough to tip at all, let alone well. He always wished he could give more, and now he had the means to do so.
Anna stopped and spoke to people in the bustling square as they made their way through the crowds. People were excited to see the two of them. Anna was adored for her endless grace and kindness, and Kristoff had even become a town favorite with the kids as he let them take turns riding on Sven and often told them stories about adventures in the mountains and tales of large ice golems in far away ice palaces.
“It’s been so long since I’ve been out here. I forgot how much I love it,” she said to him as she swung her arm with his. They had made their way out of the main center and walked along the water at the pier, boats lining the shore with pride. Anna walked on a small ledge right next to the water and he held her as she balanced. “Look at how happy everyone is.” Anna sighed as she looked towards a group of kids who were playing some sort of made up game. They looked so happy, so carefree.
“You know, you play a big part in that.”
“In what?”
“In helping make everyone feel so happy here.”
Anna blushed. “So do you, you know. I don’t think I tell you enough, but I’m so proud of all that you’ve done. I know you don’t always like the whole royal thing,” Anna straightened his collar and ruffled his hair. “But you’ve brought so much to Arendelle.” He truly had. She meant every word of what she said. He was the driving force behind building Arendelle’s first orphanage. He lead ice harvesting trips and taught the kids how to care for the reindeer.
Kristoff rubbed a hand at the back of his neck and fumbled with something to say. He still found himself getting tongue-tied when he received such genuine compliments. He was always caught off guard by the way his heart would take flight at her kindness.
His fumbling was interrupted by the kids who were now barrelling towards the two of them.
“Kristoff! Queen Anna!” the youngest of the group cried.
“Hey, guys!” Kristoff smiled. He immediately recognized the group from hanging around the stables. He knew the youngest boy as Bjorn- the one who was always asking for a ride on Sven.
“Kristoff, I’ve been practicing the song you taught me!” Bjorn began humming a gentle tune.
Anna gave Kristoff’s hand a squeeze.
“I can never get that last part,” Bjorn grumbled as he faltered on the last section of the tune. “Can you sing it for me?” The other two boys lit up at the suggestion.
“Maybe some other time,” Kristoff offered. “I don’t have my lute on me.”
Bjorn gasped and scampered off suddenly.
“You’ve been singing to them?”
Kristoff shrugged. “Sometimes in the stables. They like to help me out in there.”
She had heard him sing many times, but she didn’t know he’d been singing to the kids in the town. Her heart swelled.
Bjorn returned with a lute in his small hands. “It’s my dad’s! Please Kristoff?” The other two boys clapped excitedly and gathered around Kristoff as Bjorn pushed the lute into his hands. Anna smiled and sat down next to the boys.
“Alright Kristoff, you heard the boys. You have to play. Queen’s orders.”
Bjorn giggled at that.
Kristoff smiled and shook his head at his fiance. She was sitting like an eager child, legs criss-crossed and hands propping her head as she gazed up at him with eager eyes.
He began strumming softly. Anna could tell he was a bit nervous. She knew he was more used to playing for their little family or in the stables, but not in the open like this. But it was just her and the boys on the pier. She could see him start to ease into the song.
Anna watched as he sang. He had a beautiful voice, something she always found herself learning all over again whenever he used it in song. He sang about a beautiful girl who rescued her sister and then saved a forest, a girl who was so deeply loved by a wandering man of the mountains.

They made it out to a secluded spot in the woods together. The trees dappled the ground with spots of sun and shade. It wasn’t too far off the beaten path. It was within walking distance of the town, but it was still off the trail just enough so that they were alone amidst the birds and the whispering of the wind through the trees. They shared breads and cheeses and stories and dreams. Anna watched Kristoff talk. She was in awe of the way his face glowed in the spotted sunlight, his hair shining in neat tresses.
“Here- tilt your head back like this, but make sure to keep your eye on my hand.” Kristoff instructed Anna as he posed to throw a grape into her mouth. He had offered to teach her after he had shown off his own ability in catching them. “Ready?”
“This is stupid,” Anna replied, although she stayed in formation.
Kristoff geared up and threw a handful of five, hitting her in multiple different places on her face. “You didn’t catch a single one!”
“You cheated!” Anna tackled Kristoff to the ground in mock anger. She collapsed on top of him with bubbling laughter and he held her close, breathing her in and feeling her warmth on top of him.
They laid like that for a moment, breathing and laughing together. Kristoff looked up at the tree-covered clearing and let out an easy breath. He felt so at home.
Anna clambered off of him and patted her lap. “Lay down- I want to play with your hair.”
“Hmmm you’re going to have to pay money for that. My hair doesn’t come for free you know.”
Anna rolled her eyes. “Just get over here, silly.”
Kristoff laughed and laid his head in Anna’s lap. She strung flowers in his hair. They were full of good food and laughter. He smiled contently as she ran her fingers through his locks, putting another flower carefully into place.
“Sing for me?”
“You sound just like those kids,” he teased.
“Can you blame me? You have a beautiful voice.”
Kristoff opened his eyes and looked up at her, her face softening into a smile. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” She placed a hand on his cheek and he leaned into it. It was soft and small and warm.
He hummed a gentle tune as she worked.
***
“You know, we’ve been so busy we’ve hardly gotten to talk about our wedding,” Kristoff mentioned as they walked back to the town from their picnic.
“I think we should have two weddings.”
“Two?”
“Well, a more traditional one of course for all of the stuffy dignitaries and ambassadors, but also a special one with your family.”
“You’d do that for me?”
“Kristoff, of course. And it wouldn’t be just for you. I want that too. And I know the Northuldra would come to that one.” Kristoff thought about Anna professing her love for him underneath a night sky, draped in a mossy cape. His heart swelled. “Do you remember when your family tried to marry us after we had just met?”
Kristoff laughed at the memory. It was the first time he really felt him start to fall for her, her radiant smile illuminated by the gems on her headdress and cape. “That was so embarrassing.”
“I thought you were cute. I know we hadn’t known each other for that long and that I was technically engaged to Hans at the time,” they both made a face at the mention of her ex-fiance, “but I think that was when I first started liking you.”
“You mean you like-like me?” Kristoff asked in mock surprise.
Anna stuck her tongue out at him. “Like you didn’t like-like me then too. You came back for me in the middle of a snow storm.”
Kristoff’s eyes got serious for a moment. He reached out to take her hands in his and held them there, stopping their walk to look at her with sincerity. “I would do that all over again for you. I never want to lose you.”
“I know, Kristoff. I’m right here. I love you.”
“I love you too.” They shared a look in mutual understanding. It wasn’t something they spoke about often, but they both still dealt with the fears of losing each other after enduring life-threatening adventures. Every once in a while they needed to remind each other that they were there- that they were okay.
“So two weddings, huh?” They began walking again. He looked down at her with a smirk.
“Yup! Is that too much pressure for you? Are you thinking about pulling out now?” she challenged, a playful gleam in her eyes.
He knew she was joking, but he couldn’t help but answer with sincerity. “Never.”
***
Anna read before bed that night for the first time in weeks. What used to be a nightly ritual had become something of a broken habit that she now hoped to get back into.
Kristoff came out of the bathroom and approached the bed much like he had that morning, arms outstretched and leaning towards his fiance, but this time, she didn’t pull away. She closed her book and nestled into his arms, leaning against the wide expanse of his chest. It was still early in the evening. Usually she would be coming in from a long day of work and head straight to bed, but tonight they felt as though they had all the time in the world. She felt relaxed and at peace as he ran his fingers through her hair. She had taken it out of its braids and it fell down her back in gentle waves.
“Thank you, Kristoff.”
“For what?”
“For everything. For today. I really needed this.” She felt his lips on the top of her head, felt him nestle into her hair and inhale deeply. “I’m going to do this more often.”
“Like take days off?”
Anna nodded. “I’ve missed you.”
“I’m right here. And whenever you need another day off just let me know. I’ll beat up anyone who tries to meet with you.”
Anna snorted in laughter. “I love you so much.”
“I love you too.”
“Imagine you punching a dignitary,” Anna said with a chortle after a moment of silence passed between them. Kristoff laughed alongside her at the thought.
They fell asleep that night in each other’s arms, sleeping peacefully not because their day was filled with meetings and large decisions, but because their day was spent with laughter and sunlight and music.
Anna awoke that next morning with no aches or pains, no groggy feeling in her head or weights on her eyelids. She awoke to Kai like usual, but for the first time in a while, she took an extra moment to snuggle up to her fiance, to plant a gentle kiss to his temple, and breath him in before going about her day.
Fashionably Late- A KACIJ Fanfiction
Hi @gingersweetlove I’m your secret santa! I’m so sorry about how late I’ve ended up being with your fic (ironically about being late, I swear that was not intentional), but I hope that you’ll still enjoy it! Here’s a little canon-verse post movie Kristanna goodness <3
Length: 2139 Words Universe: Canon Rated: T (Teen & Up)- Fluff and Nondescript fade to black sexytimes
Anna did her best to adjust her crown without disturbing her carefully coiffed hair, but was having little luck. She thought that maybe she shouldn’t have sent her maids away. She also thought that maybe she’d have better luck in fixing it herself if she didn’t have someone’s lips on her neck as she attempted to do so.
“If you don’t stop kissing my neck I’m going to end up with a beard burn or a hickey and Gerda will never let me hear the end of it. God forbid Elsa notices, she and Honeymaren will be giggling about it all night and people will talk.”
It was a half-hearted chiding as his lips pressed against the sensitive skin just behind her ear, his beard scraping and tickling her throat in the process. She hummed at the sensation, and he laughed, his nose shifting her hair slightly as he kissed down her neck again.
“Let them talk,” he said, “It’s our engagement party, they must realize that I like you a little bit at this point.”
She tipped her head to the side, into his lips, and successfully set her crown further off kilter, taking a chunk of hair out of it’s place in the process. She couldn’t care though when his hands settled around her waist, practically surrounding her, and lifted her up carefully to his height before his place behind her.
She turned her head to the side to kiss him, and was unsurprised when he tipped her back into his arms, turning her in the air and breaking their kiss for a moment to get a better position for a second, and then a third. She smiled against his lips and wrapped her arms around his shoulders to redistribute her weight as he shifted his hands to hold her more comfortably against his chest.
“I don’t know,” she said teasingly, “Everyone in the kingdom thinks that we hate each other. Really, just ask.”
His eyes were alight with mischief and his lips were firmly set into a smile when she looked up at him. She liked it when he was playful. More often than not she was reminded of just how hard his life had been before they met. His rough hands, that callouses that caught on her silk skirts and the scars on his back, sides, and legs always exemplified many years of dangerous work and responsibilities that had aged him beyond his years. She knew how difficult it was for him when topics of family were brought up and he dealt with the knowledge that he’d likely never know who his parents had been. There were hundreds of reminders every day of how hard life could be for him, for them both, and so in moments of joy, where he was able to eschew responsibility or worry to tease her, she relished it.
She’d play her role of course, she’d pretend that propriety was important to her for a fraction of a moment, and then she’d let him kiss her head to toe. She’d kiss him back and nip at his bottom lip and card her fingers though his hair until they were both breathless. She’d laugh with him and squeal with joy and surprise when he’d lift her from the floor, because they both knew intimately that life was far too short to take the quiet moments, the minutes they stole together, for granted.
“Well then,” he said with a grin that made Anna melt and an edge that made her shiver in the best way, “Maybe I’ll have to hold their Queen hostage for a little bit. Kiss her all over so there’s no doubt that I very much enjoy her company.”
The scandalized expression that formed on her face was only half for show. She was a little scandalized, but in the good and exciting way. In the way that made her pulse race and her skin feel hot, like she was suddenly wearing far too many clothes although she was perfectly content and comfortable moments before.
“All over?” she asked, unable to control the little squeak to her words as she said them, “That… that would take a lot of time Mr. Bjorgman. Are you intending to make us late to our own engagement party?”
“Yes. Yes, your highness I think I am.”
With that, Anna felt his grip adjust on her as he carried her off and towards her bed. Perhaps, she thought, Gerda was correct when she’d mentioned that maybe letting Kristoff help her get ready for their engagement party was a bad idea. Though, Anna also thought that this was going to be one of the most enjoyable bad ideas she’d ever had, and really, if anyone had the authority to be late to her own party and look a mess while doing it, it was the Queen.
The crown certainly came with its perks.
***
“Sorry about your hair.”
Anna chuckled. Her eyes were closed, and she was genuinely enjoying the feeling of his fingers combing through her loose hair. After their unplanned tryst her hair had been so irreparable that he’d taken it down for her and was about to do his best to put it up for her.
“I’m not that worried about my hair Kris. I think walking properly might be the priority, but I think no matter what people are going to know that we got up to something.”
He laughed in return, a short, joyful sound as his hands left her hair for a moment to pull her back to his chest, and then to massage her legs gently through the dress they’d only just managed to get back into. His fingers, rough and large as they were, had managed rather brilliantly to close many small buttons to make it happen. Some would be shocked to hear such a thing, but Anna had just recently been reminded intimately of how precise and skilled his fingers could be.
“I know I should be apologetic, but I’m having a very difficult time not taking that as a compliment.”
“Oh, it was a compliment. I’m very pleased with how we just decided to spend our free time, but I’m just thinking that it won’t be particularly discreet when we leave here rumpled and weak kneed.”
She could all but see the proud and mischievous grin on his face, even though he was behind her. She couldn’t really complain that her fiancé hadn’t been able to keep his hands or mouth off of her, and she would never deny that his performance was more than satisfactory. She might very well combust when she put on her white dress and walked into the chapel in a few short weeks, but she’d had the comfort of knowing that they were compatible in the bedroom for months, and wouldn’t miss the chance to indulge in his attentions when and where she could.
“I guess it’s good then that the only person you’ll be close with is me. Unless you have anyone else on your dance card.”
His hands returned to her hair, starting on the basic sort of crown braid he’d put into her hair on more than one quiet evening. She’d never worn her hair with his braids in public before, and she was honestly thrilled to be able to do so. She couldn’t wait for someone to comment on her appearance so she could tell them that her fiancé had done her hair. It probably wasn’t proper, but it was going to be fun to see the way some of the stuffier members of the court reacted to such a thing. If no one else was, Anna knew that the palace staff would be amused and that alone would put a smile on her face.
“Just you, and we’ll only dance the festival songs.”
His fingers were gentle as they tugged her hair softly into place, and Anna could sense his focus as he smoothed hairs into the braid and did his very best work. They both knew that they could have called her ladies maids back into the room to straighten her hair and fix her dress and so on, but there was something about the intimacy of preparing each other to face the world that neither of them had been willing to give up.
She’d kissed up his stomach as she’d rebuttoned his shirt and then combed his hair back to the way it had been before he’d started kissing her neck and ignited a fire in her belly. Of course, she’d then tussled it just a touch to get it the way she liked it. He looked handsome in his formal wear, but he just didn’t look like her Kristoff if he wasn’t a little bit mussed. He might be Arendelle’s ice master and deliverer and soon to be the nation’s prince consort, but he was first and foremost Anna’s mountain man, and she liked it when he looked like who he was.
“You spoil me,” he teased, leaning forward to kiss the crown of her head as he finished her braids, “We can waltz if you want to, I’ll hold you close if your legs are feeling weak.”
She shook her head ever so slightly, his lips lingering in her hair making her wish that they really could just skip their own party. To spend the rest of her evening pressed close to his side, snuggled up in bed together, seemed like a dream in comparison to spending the night in the public eye, pretending that she hadn’t just had her world rocked by her fiancé’s hands and mouth. Maybe dancing closer than socially acceptable would be a fair substitution.
“You think we’re fashionably late yet?” She inquired, leaning back against him more fully as he rested her crown, perfectly centered, atop her head.
“I’ve never been fashionable, and I try not to be late.”
“You’re so matter of fact.”
She felt him shrug behind her, and she managed, through great personal effort, to peel herself away from him and off the bed they’d just made love in. His hands lingered as she did so, running them over her shoulders and down her back.
“I’ve been told it’s one of my better qualities.”
“All of your qualities are better qualities.”
She grinned when she turned to face him and saw that his cheeks were flushed, and his eyes were rolling. She liked complimenting him as often as she could, just to see the way it caught him off guard. When she stood and stretched her hand out for him to take, he grabbed on tight and pulled her into his lap, kissing her like a man starving despite how thoroughly they had just enjoyed each other.
“If they have to send Elsa after us,” she panted against his lips between kisses, “You’re going to end up frozen to this bed.”
“What a catastrophe,” he teased, “To be stuck to your bed.”
***
That they’d managed to pull themselves together for a second time and only wound up arriving seven minutes late to their own party was a miracle in its own right. That no one seemed suspicious of them was all the proof that Anna needed that some higher power was in fact looking out for them. Or at least that her entire court had already accepted that her relationship with Kristoff was one that she was happy to flaunt to the point that the shock factor had long since worn off. She’d gleefully take either.
“Receiving lines,” he muttered under his breath as another duke of something walked up to greet them, “Receiving lines are going to be my least favorite part of living here.”
Anna snorted, and Elsa, a few feet away with Honeymaren, speaking politely to some other marquess of something, shook her head and grinned. Clearly she was enjoying watching the two of them try to keep it together, and Anna couldn’t blame her for it. Not being the center of attention certainly suited Elsa well, and if she got some joy out of her and Kristoff’s boredom, it at least meant someone was happy.
“What’s going to be your favorite part?”
He didn’t answer in words, but subtly rested his hand a bit lower than normal on her lower back and squeezed gently. The implication was clear though. She was his favorite part. And, as he less subtly but probably still cleverly enough to go unnoticed, brushed his hand against her bum as he returned it to his side, she knew that he also was looking forward to the ability to spend a bit more intimate time with her.
She had to admit that was a favorite part of hers as well.
“Later?” she whispered.
And his smile, grand and unabashed, was all the response she needed.
The Happiest Place on Earth
The Happiest Place on Earth
Happy Kristanna in July @artnerd2003. I am your Secret Santa and I hope you enjoy this little fluffy modern Kristanna AU. This fic was inspired by a Tik Tok video.
A huge shoot out to @michaelakuntzmann for giving this the once over and correcting my boo-boos. And thank you to @lukin08 for previewing it as well.
Anna stood there in complete disbelief…how did this happen? They were always super careful. It just did not make any sense. How was she going to tell him? The knock on the bathroom door startled her back to the present.
“Anna? Are you going to come out and tell me the results?”
Anna unlocked the door to let her sister in. Elsa walked over to the little pink stick sitting on the counter and looked down to read it…. PREGNANT.
“Are you ok?”
“NO! How can I do this now? I am 22, just graduated from college and no job! And Kristoff is only 25 and working for his Dad’s construction company.”
“You aren’t alone in this…you have me and don’t sell Kristoff so short. That man loves you with everything he has and would go to the moon and back for you.”
“Sure, he loves me, but we have never talked about having kids or about the future. Now he is going to be tied to me for the rest of his life because I seemed to have messed something up with the birth control.”
“Now wait a minute…it takes two to make a baby. He is just as responsible for it as you. I really do not think you have anything to worry about regarding Kristoff. I mean it is not going to be easy but if anyone can do it, you and Kristoff can. Are you going to go tell him?”
“No, not yet. I do not want it to ruin our trip to Disney World. It may be our last chance to be happy together.”
“Don’t wait too long. He has the right to know. Why don’t you tell when you are in Disney?”
“Wait, what?”
“I don’t know…I’m sure we can look up some cute ways to tell a dad to be on Pinterest.”
“Do you really think I can do this? Do you think I can be a good mother?”
Elsa walked over to Anna put her arm around her and wrapped her up in a tight hug.
“If anyone can do this, you can. You were born to be a mother.”
The girls spent hours on the internet looking for memorable ways for her to tell Kristoff that he was going to be a dad. Elsa could sense Anna’s frustration at all the ideas they saw.
“I wish it could be like the wedding proposal ones.”
“What do you mean?”
“I would love to do it in that spot with Cinderella’s castle in the background and have someone capture the moment on camera. But it isn’t like I can give him a ring.”
“What if we combine a couple of ides. Like you said in front of the castle but instead of getting on one knee with a ring, hand him a baby onesie that says I Love My Daddy.”
Anna loved the simplicity of the idea and decided this was her best option.
“Let’s go shopping for the onesie but first call your doctor and make an appointment for when you get back from Disney.”
Looking at all the baby things changed her outlook on the situation. Maybe she could do this and just maybe this could be the start of a new adventure.
-----------------------------------
Kristoff wanted to make sure this trip went off without a hitch. They were leaving in 3 days. He made a list of everything he needed to pack. He also knew how Anna was and that she would be packing ten minutes before they had to leave for the airport.
He decided that he should call his feisty girlfriend and see if she had thought about packing for the trip.
“Hi Baby…how are you? I wanted to know if you have thought about packing for the trip ahead of time?”
“Ummm….” Anna fiddled with the tiny onesie in hand and started to panic. “Kind of…I bought a few new things.”
“Oh good…I was afraid you would be packing as I pulled up to pick you up for the airport.”
Anna let out a nervous laugh because he was not 100% wrong.
“Do you want to come over tonight and binge some Netflix?”
Anna knew if she saw him, she would blurt out that she was pregnant and had to think of a reason not to get together for the next three days.
“I would love to, but I should really spend some time with Elsa because she is going to miss me when we are away.”
Kristoff was confused by Anna’s answer but who was he to question sister time.
“Alright but promise me you will take some time to pack. I want you to have an unforgettable time on this trip. I want it to be something talk about for years to come.”
“Oh, I will be.”
“What?”
“Nothing, honey…just saying that I know this will be a trip full of all kinds of surprises!”
Kristoff was worried that Elsa had told Anna about the surprise he had planned for the trip.

Kristoff had not seen her in four days. Every time he suggested they hang out; she had a weird reason to stay home. He chalked up her wacky behavior to excitement for their trip. The night before the trip, she was not answering any of his call, so he decided to text her.
‘Hey Baby…just checking in to see if you are all set for tomorrow morning. I will be there at 6:00am for our 8:30 flight. I hope you are as excited as I am to see Mickey Mouse & Co.’
‘Hi Handsome…you would be proud of me…I am all packed AND my bag in by the front door. I just need to pack my last-minute stuff in my carry on.’
‘I am proud of you! Get a lot rest because it is going to be a busy 10 days! I love you!’
‘Good night, Kris! Love you too. xoxo.’
---------------------
Kristoff was surprised to see Anna sitting on her front step with Elsa when he pulled up. He jumped out of his truck and walked up to the sisters.
“Well, well, well. This is certainly a surprise. Did you have to drag her out of bed?”
“No, she dragged me out of bed.”
“I guess only Mickey Mouse can get her up and moving.”
“Yeah, yeah…keep joking you two. I don’t have a chance when the two of you gang up on me.”
Kristoff grabbed her bags and headed for the truck. Anna took this quiet moment to look to Elsa for one last bit of advice.
“Are you sure about this Elsa? I don’t want to lose him.”
Elsa took both of Anna’s hands in hers and kissed them.
“I promise this will all work out. Have faith in Kristoff and yourself.”
-----------------------
Once Anna was with Kristoff she settled back into their normal groove. She had made up her mind and was going to tell him today.
Their flight was on time and did not encounter any problems. Anna had never traveled so smoothly. Their bags were among the first to come out on the luggage carousel. She took that as good sign of things to come.
They took the shuttle to the Grand Floridian and arrived a short time later. The moment they entered Disney World, Anna forgot about all her worries and started getting overly excited.
“Settle down Feistypants…we still need to check in and correct me if I am wrong, but I remember someone wanting to go buy us some Mickey Ears.”
“Oh, my goodness…I almost forgot all about that. How am I going to decide which ears to buy?”
“You can pick out any ears you want as long as I can have something plain.”
Anna lunged over to him and hugged him tight. “You are such a good sport! I know it is not your favorite thing to do.”
“Anything for you, my love.”
They got checked in, dropped off their bags, and freshened up. Anna was pulling him all the way to the shop she read about online.
“So, you don’t mind if I but a whole bunch of these headbands because I can’t decide on just one?”
“Whatever you want princess. I will get those simple Mickey Mouse ones and the Captain America shield ones.”
“That’s it?”
“Well in all fairness, I won’t be wearing anywhere but here. You will be able to wear them in your classroom whenever you want.”
“That if I get a teaching job.”
“You will, I just know it.”
He leaned down and kissed her temple and grabbed the classic Mickey ears and the Cap ears. She decided on the sequined Minnie ears to match his Mickey ones.
“Hey Anna, can we go do that couple thing that everyone does?”
“What couple thing?”
“Can we go to that spot where the castle is in the background and t-take a picture.”
A million butterflies erupted in her stomach. He did not usually want to do such cliqued things. He was never one for pictures, selfies or public displays of affection and he seemed nervous. She was beginning to get cold feet but then she put her hand in her small backpack and felt the baby onesie and decided that this was it.
“OK…I guess since I have you wearing Mickey ears we might as well go all in.”
“Milk it for all you can because you know I won’t be wearing a headband all week for you to get these pics.”
They walked hand and hand until they arrived at the spot. They both took a moment to enjoy how beautiful the castle really was in person.
“It is funny how they did that optical illusion thing to make it look taller than it is.”
“I was so shocked when I saw that too. I am so glad you are planner and made us watch all those YouTube videos about it.”
“Ma said it was the best way to find all the tricks and ins and outs and get the most bang for our buck. OK…I think this is the perfect spot. Let me just find someone to take a picture with my phone.”
Kristoff walked over to a Disney World and asked them to pretend to just take a picture of them in front of the castle but hit the record button and not to stop recording until he said so.
They set up next to each other and posed for the photo.
“Alright look right here and smile. Perfect.”
Kristoff pulled away from Anna slightly and got down on one knee and took her left hand in his. Anna turned to him confused.
“What are you?”
“Anna, will you marry me?”
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING? OH MY GOD!”
He pulled out the ring and started to put it on her finger and Anna start to tear up and covered her face with her right hand. She had to take a deep breath and get through this. She looked up at the woman and realized she was recording a video and held up a finger.
“Wait one minute.”
Kristoff finished putting the ring on her hand and Anna started to pull something out of her backpack. Kristoff was confused and just waited. Anna looked over again and said, “wait, keep recording.”
Kristoff was so confused. What could she need in her backpack at this moment?
Anna pulled out some fabric and unrolled it and held in front of her and it said I Love My Daddy on it. After a minute he finally gets it. All he could hear was the crowd cheering all around them. One guy even yelled out, “She hit him with the reverse Uno!”
He looked up at Anna and said. “Really?”
All she could do was shake her head yes. He ran his hands down his face and started to tear up. Once he composed himself, he got up and wrapped his arms around Anna and pulled her in for hug.
It really was the happiest place on Earth, and it would be a story for them to share with future generations of Bjorgmans!
