Pee sticks always has that point one percent chance of inaccuracy. And Abi had done the test ten times to remove the error. She had gone to her doctor, and now it was official; she was with child. It started with the missed periods; she wasn’t regular, but gosh darn it she couldn’t have skipped a month, now could she? And there were mood swings, things that Abigail did not see coming.
The dreaded test results sat on her desk, and the brunette looked at them nervously. For the first time in her life, Abigail was hoping to fail a test. But no, she wasn’t going to panic. She wasn’t going to be that girl, who just needed the father of her baby. No, she was going to stand her ground, and if Kael wanted out, the door was right there. It was too soon to tell anyway, mostly because she had yet to break the news to him.
Her phone beeped with a response from Kael and she groaned. Not a standard response, but this was not a standard situation anyway. Abi didn’t bother changing out of the clothes she was in as she opened her door for him. “That was...quick. Come inside, hey!”
