A King 👑 An Icon📷 More than just an athlete🏈
What an extraordinary cover!
The reason why Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed isn’t because of his play. (Played 12 games, threw for over 2,000 yards, 16 TDs, only 4 interceptions and a Quarterback rating of 90.7. Also lead the San Francisco 49ers to two straight NFC Championship Games AND a Super Bowl appearance)
The reason why Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed isn’t because of his appearance. (Plenty of players in the league have dreads, long hair, tattoos, etc.)
The reason why Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed isn’t because he’s a “distraction”. (Ray Rice, Greg Hardy, Josh Brown, Donte Stallworth, and countless others all just rolled in their graves)
At the end of the day, no matter what coaches and GMs say (shoutout to Pete Carroll and John Harbaugh for actually wanting to give Kaep a chance but the higher ups wanted otherwise), Colin Kaepernick isn’t signed because the owners and front offices of these NFL teams are afraid of public backlash in regards to a man who is willing to speak out against the unfair treatment of BLACK Americans, how law enforcement has gotten away with murder in recent years, etc
Ironic when you look at some of the players who either have trouble (REAL TROUBLE) on their resumes or are just plain trash who have been given a second chance.....
Just my thoughts. Feel free to share yours.
