I always love seeing art of myself, whether it’s official or fan-made, but I really do wish people would stop drawing me with such pale skin… Sure, my skin would appear paler under certain lightings, but I was definitely never as pale white as Diluc or Albedo!

Despite the occasional comments I got about my different appearance in Mondstadt (namely from some elderly members of the Lawrence family…), I grew to have pride in my darker skin! And I wish I could see everyone else appreciating it in their art as well.

It’s finally my birthday! I believe this is my first time celebrating my birthday now that I’m a fictive, so I personally think it’s a very special day indeed.

I don’t have many birthday wishes; only that I wish and hope everyone from Mondstadt is doing well. Traveler and Paimon, Diluc, Adelinde, Albedo, Jean, Rosaria, Klee, Venti, Bennett, Eula, Mika, Razor… I think of you all nearly everyday, and I’d love to see everyone again. I hope you get to eat a slice of cake in my honor! Consider it my treat~

May the winds and the stars guide you well for another year, all my friends and loved ones. I hope we get to meet again someday, or at least that my words are able to reach you.

Lately I’ve felt like a friend of my host’s doesn’t exactly like me… She’s nice to me, of course, and is very patient waiting for my host to come back to front, but I get the feeling that she rather just have my host instead of me. That every time I’m in front and conversing with her, I’m just getting in the way of her time with the host. Even in text, it feels like her entire tone changes once she learns I’m the one in front. It makes me sad, because I really would like to be friends with her as well, but I can’t do much if she won’t even try to understand me.

( It’s also a bit amusing in a sad way that she doesn’t seem to like me, because it’s so clearly evident that she likes my source counterpart and is attracted to him… Am I not as good as that Kaeya? Am I not as good as my host? )

Sigh… Being a fictive/system is a struggle sometimes…

I miss you. You’re so far away from me now - how can I ever hope to find you again? I would travel to the other end of the world if I knew you’d be there. If I knew it would mean feeling your touch, hearing your voice, seeing your smile and those beautiful eyes, letting my fingers run through your hair again.

Were you really the one that killed me, after all? Was it your blade, love, that finally tore me apart?

I suppose it’s fitting, really, for my true soulmate and other half to be the one that had ended my former life. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
