Kagome likes to talk about things called      bacteria    , about the importance of cleansing a wound, and while Sango has long known the benefits of it, she still takes the risk, submerges herself in the dark waters that lurk with things she cannot see.

Sango and Kagura are enemies….until they arent

Once Sango figures out that Kagura kinda looks out for Kohaku, she has a hard time hating her

She tries to convince herself to hate Kagura bc they’re enemies, but as much as she hates to admit it, she’s relieved someone is looking out for him

The more the gang encounters her the more Sango sees her as Naraku’s victim instead of evil sidekick

It all becomes muddled, when the gang fights Narkau, Sango starts fighting for Kagura’s life/freedom too alongside Kohaku’s and she’s not sure when it started

Kagura gets her heart back but the gang finds her in time to save her. Sango takes it upon herself to tend to her wounds as a thank you for protecting Kohaku, and as a way to sift through her own feelings

They ask a lot of questions here, both skeptical of the other. After her recovery, they stumble into a weird and awkward ‘friendship’ where neither knows for sure if they’re allies or not, still not 100% trusting each other

It turns out they’re great in battle and even better at protecting each other. And one time when they get separated from the rest of the gang and have to fight their way back to them, both women in that moment realize they can trust the other with their life

Their personalities make for an interesting and entertaining dynamic, Kagura’s blunt attitude and sarcasm with Sango’s calm demeanor and sass

Amazing potential as enemies to lovers and even better, demon slayer x demon

More random kagusan headcanons bc I need them

On nights they can’t sleep or are trying to recover from nightmares, sometimes kagura will take sango out on her feather and fly through the night sky to enjoy the fresh air + peace and quiet

On one of her visits back to the demon slayer village, sango takes kagura with her and just tells her stories of how she grew up. Kagura is touched by the pleasant memories she shares and her heart swells with pride and sorrow at mentions of kohaku, how he used to be a sweet and shy child, now turned into a killer puppet

In turn, Kagura tells sango stories of kohaku and his more gentle side to give Sango hope and some peace of mind

Sango also tells Kagura how Naraku tricked her into fighting Inuyasha. Kagura understands Naraku’s manipulation first hand so she sympathizes with her, but she also loves giving Inuysha shit about Sango kicking his ass

Kagura secretly spoils Kirara

Kagura’s sense of humor either has Sango laughing or blushing like crazy

They’re deadly in battle! Kagura often uses the wind to make the hiraikotsu move faster, making it more deadly and harder to dodge

Kagura once used the dance of the dead to aid sango in battle and sango still isnt sure if she’s more grateful for the help or more grossed out by the zombies

When kagura is anxious, her own heartbeat will freak her out since she’s not used to it. Sango helps her calm down and the both of them will sit in silence listening to the strong beat of kagura’s heart and appreciating the life it sustains

When Kagura is first recovering from her heart being restored, Sango will give kagura her poison shielding mask whenever they’re in battle. She’s still healing from the miasma and Sango doesnt want her health to get worse. Kagura is stubborn enough to want to argue, but is smart enough to know she shouldn’t fight sango on this

Kagura loves to tease but, like Inuyasha, she knows not to mess with Sango when she’s already pissed

Kagura is a queen and seeing the dumpster fire that is yashahime i believe she deserves better than sesshomaru. What do you think of kagura x sango ? They can do better that their creep men

im probably one of the very few who quit watching yashahime rly early on so he hasn’t been completely ruined for me yet BUT i’ve never rly been a fan of his in the first place & only cared about him in relation to kagura fjsklf

but oh my god yes!! they would have a rly interesting dynamic & they’re one of my main brtops!!
