Let it be know that I have no hope of them actually making bucky bi bc marvel writers and producers are a bunch of homophobic chumps. I fully feel that Bucky and Sam's relationship should be and is strictly platonic but episode two and they're already putting in scenes that are so obviously intended as queer bait (couples therapy, rolling in the grass) bc they know they're going to have a base largely made up of stucky shipers that are mostly around for gay Bucky. I do not believe they will make samXbucky a thing and will just continue to bait with it. ALL THAT SAID, I will be enjoying the show and content made by fans bc i am weak for gay characters from my middle school years

This might be incoherent but. They've already acknowledged that Captain America is a symbol and the people in charge, in this case the government, want to make sure his image stays "perfect." He has to be their version of Mr. All American, blond hair, blue eyes, the perfect soldier, played football in high school, white boy who can look good for the cameras. The same man who gives this "ideal american man" the shield praised Sam for giving it up. I've already seen posts talking about that but basically, given the chance, whoever is in charge will work to keep captain america in their comfortable white version of what America should look like.

What remains to be seen is if they are aware of themselves doing that. Even if they hint more at Bucky being bi or gay, or maybe confirm it, I can't see them doing the same for Steve. He's still their "perfect all american man" and I don't think they'll openly admit that he might not be straight. They've put him up on a pedestal and they won't let him come down.

To be clear, I think this is disgusting but predictable. I think Marvel is going to fish for woke points and young viewership by queerbaiting and maybe letting the Winter Soldier (already corrupted by Hydra, literally fell from the heaven of the US army) come out to the viewers, but I think there is zero chance they would let Stucky be in any way reciprocated, even ambiguously, for fear of "tarnishing" their pretty poster boy.

I redrew something from my early days of Deviant art. I think it was for a challenge, like your first digital drawing VS now. this wasn't my first digital drawing but I lost a lot of art because my computer at the time died. my Digital art skills were, scanning a drawing and painting it with some coloring program my mom got me. this brought back memories of me drawing these two during class instead of paying attention. they're Moonwings and kaiah, and they were my children.
