thinking about how much of a loser gen narumi is. the other captains and vice-captains severely questioned your sanity when they'd found out the two of you were dating. i mean, sure, captain narumi was attractive, but he was so so so annoying, and so so so bratty. plus, you barely get to see him with how much work he has. what did a pretty girl like you even see in him?
must be some good dick.

Merry Kirbymas! - Day 1 - Monsters!
Not feeling that any live action adaptation has ever properly captured the Jack Kirby cosmic aesthetic properly, I decided to fix that, with a LORA. Of course, that means I had to create a LOT of images in that style.
Today we're starting off with Kirby Kaiju.
Jack may well be one of the most prolific designers of giant monsters the United States has ever produced. While Goom, Xemu the Titan and Fin Fang Foom are the big names, he churned out Godzilla-or-at-least-Gamera quality foes on an oftentimes literally weekly basis.
And they're so delightfully American (dare I say, UltraMerican) in concept: Big-headed, lumpy, rocky, rubbery bug-eyed monsters issuing threats and terrorizing tiny humans, one part King Kong and one part Martian Invader. Always weird, always fun, and ultimately thwarted by hubris or the actions of plucky, clever humans.
Since LORAs are all about broad trends rather than specifics, I kept accuracy on the translations a lower priority than style (thus Fin-Fang-Foom being orange instead of his usual green, and my not bothering to reduce the number of toes on Goom, etc).
To do this, I used a combination of Sora, Midjourney and Photoshop. Sora is good at making the initial style-to-style translations, wherein they can be brought into Midjourney's editor to fix flaws and shore up details, with photoshop for fine point corrections and color-adjusting (which you HAVE to do).
Many more to come.

Hey....
I didn't get there in time so it's really far away, sorry :(
ok before i finish Arc i need to say something about ultraman
...the 2 seasons and 2 episodes of gaia that i watched at least
I fucking love how loose everything is
a weird thing to say it but what i mean is
the kaijuu are just fucking around
like, some of them are part of an evil alien threat
MOST are just critters that happen to appear and are destroying things cause yknow kaijuu and I love it
in a very weird way it makes the world feel alive
"oh shit there was a kaijuu sleeping here and we woke it while digging a tunnel"
it has no impact into the bigger narrative, there was no evil empire of aliens or demons or shocker that sent that guy to the city to do something, it was just an incident
but now we know about this random kaijuu that was sleeping here that does something and it feels so cool
the world feels like a magical place with weird and mysterious creatures and deadly but detail
which is just ultra Q but now with giant man
anyway i like it thats the point watch more ultraman everyone
