Vincent and Selene with ink and paper for valentine's day! 💘 ☔
Königskolonnaden in Kleistpark Berlin 1980.
I want to go back to last year! Maybe I should make some hip padding to go with this skirt? Although I really like the overal form and fit like it is. Not exactly historical but historical inspired. Taken last year at the historical fair at @freilichtmuseumkommern __________ #historicalfashion #edwardian #edwardianfashion #costumer #historicalcostume #kaiserzeit #belleepoque #chatelaine #handmade #seamstress #sewistsofinstagram #Steampunk #steampunkfashion #vintage #retro #vintagefashion #korsett #corset #freilichtmuseum #kommern (hier: LVR-Freilichtmuseum Kommern) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_ATUmyj2pe/?igshid=15gjcngyy0qon

3 Prussian Officer Cadets descending steps; Vincent Odinkirk, Gottlieb Witt and Leon von Zelewski (1906). Concept art for Moth, experimenting with ways of showing dark fabric in a black and white style. Since so little information is available about the Konigsberg Military Academy I felt liberty to make their motto "Kein Sieg Ohne Risiko" = "No victory without risk". This is derived from the lyrics "If you don't risk your life, you'll never win your life" from Fridericus Rex Grenadiermarsch, which is very exemplary of Prussian Militarist rhetoric, which in turn is derived from the Prose Edda, and sounds similar to the old Norse saying "Man doesn't avoid risk by avoiding conflict."
Siegfried watches the stormy Frische Nehrung. Concept art for Moth.
Vincent and Siegfried's Moth, pre-war wardrobe updated with Siegfried's folkish dress and mourning dress.
