At the beginning of the doubly-long Chapter 8, the head of the “tobiccho” (a gang of ronin that have banded together for general crimes and debauchery) meets Ogami Itto and says that he seems familiar. But he can’t quite place it.

At the end of the chapter, the tobiccho are preparing to leave the hot springs, and they announce that they are going to kill the other visitors to keep them quiet. One of those visitors is a sick samurai. He begs for a 介錯 (kaishaku) while he commits 切腹 (seppuku), the ritual suicide. A kaishaku basically stands behind the person committing suicide, and cuts off their head at the moment of the stomach stabbing.

The word “kaishaku” shocks a memory for the head of the tobiccho. He then sees a monk, who is chanting the Namu Amida, which makes him think おがむ (ogamu), which means “to pray” or “to pray with hands pressed together” (it’s about the posture of the prayer).... he repeats it... ogamu... ogami.... suddenly it all clicks with “介錯人拝一刀” (kaishakujin ogami itto) -- or, Executioner Ogami Itto, and he realizes who the latest visitor really is....

Finaliza el Manga de Akaaka Toshita Chi no Monogatari.

La serie de Kaishaku fue publicada en 2014. 

La web MangaBox de DeNA publicó el capítulo 103 y final del Manga Akaaka Toshita Chi no Monogatari de Kaishaku este viernes. MangaBox también ha publicado el capítulo final en Ingles. Kodansha pondrá a a venta el sexto y final tomo recopilatorio de la serie el 9 de mayo en Japón. 

En la historia Itsuki y Hayato, son dos hermanos que crecieron en un pueblo adentrado en las montañas. Ellos se dispusieron a cazar a un lobo que ha estado atacando al ganado de su pueblo. Itsuki estaba a punto matarlo cuando una bestia gigantesca apareció de la nada, atrapando al lobo en sus mandíbulas y chupando su vida fuera de él. La bestia que mira hacia abajo a Itsuki es un gigantesco ciervo vampiro chupasangre... ¿¡Podrán los dos hermanos volver a su pueblo con vida?!  

Kaishaku lanzó el Manga original en la aplicación para móviles Manga Box de DeNA en Japones. Ingles y Chino en abril del 2014. Kodansha puso a la venta el quinto tomo de la serie en agosto del año pasado.  

Kaishaku esta formado por los artistas Hitoshi Ota y Terumasa Shichinohe. Otros Manga del dúo incluyen: Koutetsu Tenshi Kurumi, Magical Nyan Nyan Taruto, Enban Oujo Valkyrie, Kagihime Monogatari - Eikyuu Alice Rinbukyoku, Kannaduki no Miko, y Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora. Todas las series anteriores inspiraron adaptaciones a Anime.
