tbh if it weren't for my cat, I'd give up now. I'd have given up 30x over by now. but the thought of him wandering the house looking for me? or ending up in a shelter because nobody would take him? or worse...

I have one reason that I stay. and he's purring in my lap. the day my heartbeat is the only thing heard– when I've gently quieted his purrs with the hardest decision I'll ever have to make– I'll silence that, too.

I've worked in places that had clinic cats, but tbh I'm so excited to see this girl above my desk every day (and not have extra litter boxes to clean) 🕷️

every time I have to go to the pharmacy it's the same tech at the counter and she is SO pretty and I never say anything but today she had on a scrub color that I love but would look terrible in myself, so I complimented her...

long story short, we're friends now because she said "it's hard to make friends as an adult, do you maybe want to be friends?" lmao
