my cat athena has this routine where if someone is standing at the bathroom sink, she sits and begs for what my partner and i call “stinky sinky time”

stinky sinky time is where athena (aka stinky, on account of the fact that she is sometimes very stinky) gets into bathroom sink and aggressively rubs the faucet while my partner and/or i pet her sides/back and chant “stinky sinky stinky sinky stinky sinky” at her. she loves it so much. literally any time one of us goes in the bathroom, she immediately jumps on the counter, sits, and looks pathetic until we start stinky sinkies.

tried to take a picture to be like “i asked kyle to pick a book from my shelf to read while i suffer from cramps” but felix just went nuts in the background and that was a lot more interesting
