I kinda have this persistent idea that Fuyumi has dated a lot and when it comes to Kai she’s not used to someone who can...handle themself? Like, he’s his own person with his own things, but he wants Fuyumi around because he likes her, not because he needs her. Kai, meanwhile, is not used to someone who doesn’t push his buttons on his germaphobia. She just notices and acts accordingly, asking if certain things are okay, can she touch him, can she hand him something? She is very perceptive. She also figures out about his yakuza affiliation in, like, a week.

I don’t know. Just something to explore 👌😃

AU: Dabi and Shigaraki egg Chisaki’s car and run for it. Chisaki chases them down through suburban hell and to the Todoroki house. Or, at least, he thinks this is the Todoroki house.

propaganda for kaiyumi (chisaki/fuyumi):

their situations are way more similar than you'd think. fuyumi is stuck in a patriarchal abusive household under the thumb of a violent, controlling man. chisaki is stuck in the patriarchal abusive yakuza (if you try to leave they start cutting fingers off) under the thumb of a man who doesn't seem to see him as anything more than a problem to be fixed.

they react to those similar situations in wildly different (yet still similar) ways: chisaki reacts by taking his anger out on a vulnerable target while fuyumi pushes all of her pain and anger down where it will never be seen. and yet both of their approaches involve "don't ever talk back to authority directly, just circumvent them out of sight"
