December is here with its cold days and warm feels. As KAJ fan myself I wanted to celebrate the coming holiday here on Tumblr with a little something that would include our boys. That's why I have made a KAJ advent calendar! ✨🎄
From the 1st of December to 24th of December I will post one poll a day about our beloved bastubröders.
There will be a variety of questions from KAJs whole career to please all kinds of fans: from casual listeners to social media lurkers and musical enthusiasts. Fans of a certain chaotic band are not left cold either!
In every post there will be a link to that day's episode of KAJs Julkalender 2014 on youtube for easy and quick access, english subtitles included!
I consider myself to be quite a big KAJ fan. But as I am also a human I make mistakes and with so many questions it is almost unavoidable. So if you spot a mistake on the questions feel free to message me about it, send an ask to my open inbox or let me know about it in the comments/reblogs.

KAJstmas is here!
What a KAJcember (December) we have had! And what a journey KAJ has had all the way from little boys to grown adults who keep creating, laughing and being themselves.
To each other they are what Christmas is with food, presents and family; these belong together and without one of these it wouldn't exist.
As people hopefully find some relaxation and rest today, one person who is working hard all day long and well into the night is Tomten aka Santa Claus. If Christmas was in KAJs hands, even withouth Christmas magic these three Tomten would make sure that no one is left with a frown on their faces.
This Tomten (picture below) would always leave with laughter being the background music of his trip!

KAJ started with their iconic green t-shirts but now it's almost an everyday occurrence that you see KAJ wearing suits. Their suits as a trademark started with the release of Karar i arbeit album in 2024 and from there Bara bada bastu and Eurovision only intensified their signature look of suits.
Before the year of 2025 there has been a lot of footage of KAJ performing without suits but this year it has been impossible to see them without ones during gigs and concerts. Can you remember any occasion where they haven't worn any? With that it's understandable that they grow the contents of their wardrobes with more pieces they can wear. Can you count from memory how many suits they exactly have had during their whole career?

DAY 20
Everybody knows what KAJ stands for. It's the first letters of their names: Kevin Holmström, Axel Åhman and Jakob Norrgård. However, during Eurovision they have gotten another set of names. If someone refers to the man with the big, bright smile as SCHakob then we all immediately know who it is. Kevin and Axel are not left without names either. Mr. International holds up his title proudly as he greets the audience with "Hola!" and just like one australian businessman did, Big Kev can be heard shouting "I'm excited!" in backstages and band practices.
In the themes of three, they also have a third set of names. Even if KAJ hasn't mentioned those names at all after they were first created these names can sometimes be seen in fan spaces, fanart and fan edits. K, just like Kevin. Or is it Kindness? And the letter J is of course... Justice. That's right. But what is Axel's name in the middle of Kindness and Justice?

KAJ has brought up their song Karalåtin a lot, "never again" has been their opinion on it after creation. It's their first song that's gotten a music video on their youtube channel and it has found its place as the first track on their debut album Professionella Pjasalappar too.
On that album there is another song, Fisken Gunnar. Their logo from the green t-shirts is inspired by that song, which could mean that this song is not just a basic song but a song that has a deeper meaning for KAJ.
The presence of these two songs has been strong since the start. But do you ever wonder which one gets the title as 'KAJs very first song'? What about the writers? Did they all, Kevin, Axel and Jakob participate in the creation of it?

DAY 19
In KAJs earlier years they were known throughout all of Ostrobothnia. But Melodifestivalen and Eurovision raised our boys to the knowledge of the whole world. Many people who had never known about them before might have learned that they after all have known one of the members in the past, maybe as a neighbour.
Information flows and people talk. Jere Pöyhönen aka Käärijä got to learn that he was one of these people who has had a past with KAJ. With lighthearted messages in Instagram DMs he and KAJ talked about his and one of the member's combined past and found out that they have been neighbours in Helsinki many years ago.
