About Abandoned: do you think one of the reasons why X was extremely upset about Baron turning off the destabilizer was because it reminded him of Malla leaving?

IX said that the destabilizers makes the server more "unstable". In the beginning of baron's part 2, he came back where his house and where the hot air balloon was — and found that it was covered with the nether blocks from the nether dimension that OMEGA (the red creature in part 1 that baron had to use a flashlight against) was in.

While baron was exploring the ruined area, IX says "The destabilizers are set", and then afterwards they say "It has hooked the forgotten world into this world".

IX was refering to "It", as the destabilizers. The destabilizers "hooked" the forgotten world (the nether dimension) into the overworld. This was why there were nether blocks in the area.

Remember Livor's storyline? That one book, "manuscript for IV", was a letter from Livor's friend. "I remain with no sense of self, only anger. and forever to decay. in this past. this world. this empty hell. The world is doomed, and I am too. Without you. My friend."

In the next book that baron read, it described how numeral number I attacked, and how there was only one survivor..."All but one managed to escape". The book's text said "He kept running...but stopped. He realized he can't keep running. nor can he leave. and he cant escape. "And he can't say goodbye to IV". "It was the end for him. A carnation withered away." -- "IV's grief transformed. It was long overdue. For IV to lose itself in this world. Goodbye, Livor".

SO, one of the players that numeral number I attacked was Livor's friend. He escaped but eventually died. Livor's grief was too much, and it lost itself. Likely turning hostile and maybe losing its memories. This is implying that the roman numeral entities can also "lose themselves" in the server like how players like Malla do.

Malla said that after/during the incident where roman number I attacked the others, she left the server for her safety and came back 1 year later to see X. She then says "my friends are gone". They were all killed. This could mean that X also eventually "lost himself" since it doesn't seem like Malla is intending on talking to X again. X losing himself was either caused by an event that we viewers still aren't aware of, or because X thought Malla left or betrayed him. They seemed to be close friends after all

Before the destabilizers were activated, X wasn't really trying to harm baron. He seemed to only be observing him. After he turned on the destabilizers was when X got very hostile. In part 2, he managed to confront baron, and he said — "we were given life", "they never listened", "we chose to rest", "it isn't fair", and "but they didn't care". To me, X just wants to be left alone.

Something happened in the past, and X's broken mind just wants peace. But. Turning the destabilizer on ruins his "peace", since it can make the server more broken, unstable, and invite the "forgotten world" into the overworld.

(Update: Rod's and Derp's vids came out and X wanting to be alone is def there.)

i've just found out about the abandoned fandom on tumblr and i've been going a bit insane about that for the past few minutes- really appreciate the doc you're making to capture some of the information and stuff from the different playthroughs. It'd be very cool if a wiki came to be someday... Before all this i was trying to find all the playthroughs by my own and always wondered, what exactly happened to Derpy's? Seems like they've done one but all the videos are now unlisted and privated for some reason which is sad. Do you have any info on that??-

Derp/Luke had 3 videos on Abandoned Legacy, his runs ended since he died. He said he deleted them because he's planning to compile it to be like an ARG or a wifies video

He's approaching Abandoned as a semi-roleplay — "Luke" being a character with his own backstory :)

Also there is a wiki! But it's still quite empty. There's also a Reddit now ^_^
