One, Two, Ah—
Call Of Duty Gambling High AU
Kinda An Odd Story, Also Inspired by Kakegurui
They noticed you. The Student Council… An elite group of students. A group of students the others call, “One-Four-One,” mostly because that’s their usual go-to way to gamble. They’re fucking scary.
Ghost, the bodyguard of the Student Council, wears a skull mask over his mouth and a beanie. No one knows his actual name, just that he’s frightening and dangerous. He wins EVERY game he plays. He’s a strong silent type… A very strong silent type.
Johnny “Soap” MacTavish, the social media handler for the Student Council, he has a Mohawk and some stubble on his chin. He LOVES to lure his opponents in by letting them win the first round. His innocent, Scottish exterior hides his dark inside. It’s like getting whiplash…
Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, the treasurer of the Student Council, he has a sort of buzz cut and hardly no stubble. Gaz loves to raise the stakes high, he does it subtly. But before you know it, you’re ten million pounds in debt. It’s quite scary, so scary…
And finally, Price, the president of the Student Council, he wears a bucket hat typically. No one has quite played against him, they say those who have had gone missing. That one of his “boys” had taken care of it. He’s high up on the totem pole, hard to reach unless you beat all of his boys.
And the Vice-President? No one knows their identity. It’s a well-guarded secret in the Student Council… But a few years back, one of their members passed. Gary “Roach” Sanderson was his name… Poor soul taken too soon.
Of course, there are other minor groups in the high school… Such as Los Vaqueros, an all Hispanic transfer student group, it’s led by Alejandro Vargas. Nobody fucks with them. The Shadow Corp, led by Philip Graves. They’ve sunk under, believe it or not. And let’s not forget KorTac! A group led by someone unknown… But people say they frequently see a tall, masked man with people wearing the KorTac patches on their blazers.
But that’s enough about the groups, the hierarchy is terrible. It’s a hierarchy of donations, of sketchy, SKETCHY donations. Where are the donations going? No one knows.
You sit at the neutral ground of the hierarchy, not teetering under and not teetering higher. You won a match on your first day and gained the Student Council’s attention. So you got approached by Soap.
Soap bounded over to you happily on the second day you were there. He greeted you excitedly, taking your hands into his, “‘Ello, laddie! I’m Johnny MacTavish, but ye can call me Soap! It’s so won’erful to meet ye!” He had a huge smile on his face. Isn’t he a first year? How is he on the Council?
You shook your head of your thoughts, smiling back at him, “Ah, pleasure to meet you, I’m F/N L/N.” As soon as you said your name, his smile seemed to darken. It was as if he knew his next target now.
He tilted his head a hair, looking at someone over your shoulder and back at you. Was someone else here? Was someone else in the SC here?
You tried to look where his eyes had darted, but he spoke before you could, “Ay, Laddie! Ye like gam’lin’?”
Your eyebrows furrowed, eyes snapping to his caramel ones. Why is he asking this?
His repeated question fell on deaf ears as you caught sight of Price walk past behind him. Are they all here? Is every member of the Student Council here? Your eyes widened as you felt a cold piece of what you could assume to be metal against your head.
A gruff British voice rumbled, “Answer him, mate.” It was Ghost. Or, you can assume. You can’t see his face, so you have to assume.
Were guns allowed here? Were guns allowed on the school’s grounds? Why did the SC have one?
You try to move your head to look back, but Soap moved his hands to clasp your face at a lightning pace.
And so he repeated his question again, “Do ye like gam’lin’?” Soap’s face was a lot more severe. It was frightening.
You swallowed hard, eyes darting between his two. It seemed like they were glowing now, but they aren’t. It’s just a trick of the light… Your breathing picked up a hair, it was like you were a piece of meat in a tank full of sharks.
Oh, this was exhilarating. You bit your bottom lip and nodded, “OH! I love gambling, do I get to gamble with you guys someday? Oh, I hope so. Please, tell me I will!” That statement alone seemed to shock the four men.
Ghost dropped his gun from the back of your head, kinda shellshocked. Soap’s hands fell slack at his sides, Gaz paused in his stalking, and Price? Price just stood still, analyzing.
Oh, you’re an enigma. One they have to be careful around. Price whistled a loud note, every man’s head shot to his eyes, while yours slowly skirted over.
The fourth year tilted his head back, “Oi, boys, back off from them, yeah? They aren’t up to our level yet, let them win some more before we come and beat them.” The three men nodded and walked towards Price.
You pouted, you wanted to so badly gamble against them. But you’ll have to wait, huh?
