Kaki kicks the side of the couch to wake him up, arms crossed across her chest. "Get up. It's after noon." There's no discernable emotion on her face, but her words held a twinge of annoyance. "--You're going to have to quit bumming around my house eventually, you know."
All was going great taking advantage of the calm moment, free of any stress for the first time in his life. Being able to sleep without having to clench his fists or keeping some form of guard up. Deep in slumber at last or until he found himself woken to the sight of Kaki’s bright pink visage.
A low grumble, snarled out his mouth as he sat up. Fixing up his hair that was now semi matted up from the friction of the couch. There wasn’t much point to him arguing with her. It was her house and she was generous enough to let him stay there. His voice raspy, dry and loud responded back to her, “Fine. I’ll get up. I’ll help you clean up or whatever you want.”
