3: Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how?

Oooh, boy. Yes. Yes, Sulah is free-est around her family, though there’s a big sense of duty - she knows what her job is on the ship, she knows that being ‘blessed’ by Air instead of Water marks her as different, even if her family says it doesn’t matter. It’s why she sometiimes seeks solitude from her family. She’s a bit looser around people who don’t know the expectations to begin with. The biggest difference in behavior for her is that she’s very terse and sharp when she’s uncomfortable - so basically around people who may potentially use or abuse her or anyone around her.

15: Does your OC consider themselves a good person?

I think she does! She’s got the right intentions, even if they do stray into selfishness at times.

19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?

A drink, for sure. A good hit scored on an enemy, and knowing that she has friends at her back.

5: How would your OC generally react to someone being verbally abusive towards them for no apparent reason?

Depends what the abuse is. If it’s specifically about her, physically, she’s most likely to be one of those infuriatingly calm people. If it’s about a flaw she’s insecure about, she’ll just leave. But if you verbally abuse her about someone she cares about, she’s not above name calling and retaliation, no matter how hard she tries to be a bastion of calm. It grates on her, honestly, but mostly only if there’s no reason behind it. If she can understand why, then it’s easier to deal with.

18: What kind of intrapersonal values does your OC have? (values about their self, what makes them feel like a valid person)

She values her ability to get the job done, her determination and unceasing dedication to the task at hand. Sadly, that’s pretty much everything that has value for her currently.

27: Does your OC practise any kind of escapism? If yes, what kind?

Her dancing is her escape. And fighting. She really throws herself into things that physically tire her out so that she’s too tired to think.

10: Does your OC guard their emotions by being tough? If not how would they?

Kaleka isn’t really great at emotions. She’s very guarded, very tough, yes.

11: How would your OC react to hearing they’re adopted?

She’d be pretty danged surprised, considering drow don’t have many children, but it wouldn’t change anything now that she’s grown (and run away from home).

12: What is one of the most primary things your OC feels that is missing from their life?

Purpose. When one is raised as a cleric of a death goddess for one’s whole life only to break from church and country after watching one’s friend be sacrificed, one tends to be a bit lost. She really hasn’t the slightest idea what to do on her own; she’s mostly just focused on hiding and surviving.

13: What kind of situations does your OC avoid the most?

Anything involving her homeland or the goddess Thuula and her dragoons. Typically avoids anything that requires a lot of social finesse; not because she can’t do it, but because she finds it boring.

14: If your OC gets into a fight with their best friend, would they wait for their friend to make up with them, or would they try to make up with their friend?

She’s stubborn, and therefore unlikely to make the first move.

15: Does your OC consider themselves a good person?

She’s conflicted. Raised to believe Thuula’s way was the right way, but then to break away from that because of the amount of living sacrifice required? She did what she thought was right, but she wishes she could have done more. She really doesn’t know if she’s a good person.
