The random item around which this week’s outfit was created is the ring! A piece of jewelry as the random item usually gives me carte blanche as to what kind of outfit to create. This time was no different, though the inscription in Arabic on the ring, which translates to “You’re my eternity” and comes from an Egyptian song, led me to create an outfit inspired by Jasmine.

The idea to create a Jasmine outfit actually came when Aldo release its Princess collection, hence the use of the sneakers from said collection. The crop top really felt like the perfect fit for a Jasmine look, as did the Sergio Hudson pants. I will admit that the crop top with pants look has always confused me, as it feels like the weather has to be warm enough for a crop top, but cold enough to endure pants. I guess that’s fashion...

For the accessories, I felt the earrings were close enough to the ones Jasmine wears without looking like a copy. The handbag is another wink at the source material.

Our first piece is from Paris-based Lama Jouni who previously worked for Balmain, RAD HOURANI, Reed Krakoff and more. Gaga opted for the black micro-ribbed off-shoulder maxi dress with slit detail ($265).

After her transformation, Gaga debuts a Marilyn-inspired short bob which she paired with matching separates from the KALMANOVICH’ Fall/Winter 2021 collection.

The look includes a brown & orange houndstooth long-sleeved crop top and a mini skirt with curved hem.

Lidow Archive also provided her ASOS statement gold & tortoiseshell resin bar drop earrings...
