First pass on my MLP redesigns. Had a bit of art block and the ponies were calling me back.

Gonna elaborate more in followup references for everyone.

Some notes under cut

- Im trying to design this with toys and fanart in mind (not too complex but also not just pure shapes)

- Pegasi have feathers on their ears and chest

- Unicorns have specialty shaped horns based on special talent

- specialized special talents have a single graphic cutie mark design and more general special talents have multiple smaller images

- every alicorn has a particle effect coming out of their hair and at 10,000+ years their eyes change

- the designs under each of the princesses is what they look like before ascending

- not pictured but spike is a wyvern

First proper redesign! The main girl herself, Twilight Sparkle!

Some Design notes

- for this redesign i think all of the princesses would basically be normal but with the ability to magical girl transform into a "royal form" with extra detailed designs and magic and stuff. Still being alicorns when not in that form but with less Stuff happening.

- other then that i just drew her pre alicorn. Ponyville's newest resident who moved in to take over for the previous librarian who just retired to Las Pegasus. Her special talent is just straight up being better at magic than anyone else. The bracelet is a friendship bracelet she has with the mane six. Her horn is shaped like that because extra magic warps unicorn horns. I think she reads and writes scientific papers for fun and keeps a diary with absurdly beautiful journalling spreads.

- all unucorns have lion tails and cloven hooves.

Probably the most drastic of my redesigns!

Notes under cut

- Her special talent is sewing! I like the more grounded special talents way more than the vague ones in the show. So I changed her cutie mark to reflect that.

- Had to keep Occupation/Hobby to stay in line with the rest but her fashion design is way more of a second job. Girlboss on a grindset.

- SHES GREEN!!! I really wanted the lineup to be a perfect rainbow instead of a rainbow without green and with extra purple(?) so shes green now. I think it also works better so its a subversion of "green with envy" and it looks more formal and works better with more outfits and im just a big fan lol.

- Her scarf and makeup would change with outfits.

- pinkie and her paint each other's hooves every monday.

- I think shes explicitly sweetie bell's adoptive mother after something happened to their parents (either they suck or they died idk). Her and twilight really bond over this sibling/parent dynamic. Spike has a crush on Sweetie bell now instead of rarity.

- She is also extremely involved with cheerily's school and volunteers to teach home ec classes and a sewing club (Grannie Smith takes over for quilting days when Rarity is too busy, which is often)

- Terrible cook.
