I'm curious to hear your headcanons for Jake and Marcus. I have many, but I always love hearing others!

Personality-wise Jake Lin is like Pepper Potts crossed with Kim Pine from Scott Pilgrim. Rational, level-headed, snarky, sarcastic, deadpan, professional, efficient, really good at his job. He's of South Korean descent and was born in Detroit. He used to work in insurance. Re: his relationship with Marcus, he was attracted to Marcus from the beginning and hid it really well but when Marcus started flirting with him he thought Marcus was fucking with him, but he wasn't, and then--oh god damnit you know what. Go read MindfulWrath's For Who I Am fic, the bits in italics are all literally my headcanons about the development of their relationship, expressed really eloquently

My Marcus headcanons can be found largely on my Marcus blog, particularly under the Marcus answers tag. Also feel free to ASK HIM QUESTIONS, it's an ask blog, ye!! But my Marcus is of Iranian/Persian descent and is all new-money, way more intelligent than he acts, and a complete bastard ♥

Spoiler Alert: Marcus Vanston has kind of worked his way up in my list of characters I like, and I gots a lot of headcanons for him and his assistant. I'm planning to do an ask blog for Jake, would it be okay if I used your character designs for Marcus and Jake? I absolutely love them, and can't not picture them the way you draw them when I think about them.

What if it turns that Cecil asked if it was Carlos at the door because the person LOOKS like Carlos, aka Diego/Carlos' Double? He didn't sound convinced it was Carlos, and since he's wanting him home and safe, he might overlook a double at a quick glance....

You bet it's a real post. As I have explained on numerous occasions, I do not support the separation of white Cecil and non-white Cecil. Each one belongs in the "Cecil" tag; he doesn't need a new identifier simply because he's not white.

!!Breaking News!! There is no such thing as racism because there's only one race! The human race! Therefore there's no need for separation of white and poc Cecils because they're all the same! Cultural differences and backgrounds? Doesn't matter! Let's lump them all together! I'm sure people wont mind a white Cecil in traditional Chinese clothing.

Never mind the fact that poc fans want to see Cecils that look like them because we get shafted in every other form of media. Never mind the fact that pocecil is a tag that makes it easier to find other poc headcanons and fanfic and artwork in a sea of white Cecils. Never mind the fact that pocecil is (or was) a safe space for poc fans to share their headcanons without being harrassed or threatened or simply overlooked and ignored because their Cecil wasn't white. Never mind the fact that ACTUAL LITERAL WHITE SUPREMACISTS are spamming the tag meant for pocs and poc headcanons just because they don't want Cecil to be brown. Nevermind the fact that the majority of white fans actually IGNORE the racism in this fandom and complain about all the 'drama' and how they just wish it was back to being cutesy headcanons and fanart, meanwhile poc wish they wouldn't get ran off the internet simply for imagining Cecil as non-white. Oh god but please!! someone think of this poor person who only sees Cecil as Cecil! I mean fuck those pocs who are getting their lives threatened; your way or the highway because it has no lasting effect on you right?

I know I'm basically talking to a brick wall here, but aside from the obvious (obviously not that obvious to you, goddamn son) reasoning for having a pocecil tag, do you even know what a tag is? Like whats its function? It's literally a tool to make something readily available and easier to find or to categorize. If I SPECIFICALLY wanted to see fanart of a Black Cecil, then the pocecil tag would make it easier to find it, as it's less time consuming then searching the main wtnv tag. Pocecil is (or was) also special because it also doubled as a safe space, where other fans could feel comfortable sharing their headcanons without getting hate.

What's so damn hard to not understand? Seems like you're upset that people are imagining Cecil different from your (probably white) headcanon, and just because YOU have no use for it, it doesn't mean that this tag shouldn't exist. A Black or Asian or Native American Cecil is NOT the same as a white Cecil so please miss me with that colorblind we're all the same inside bullshit.

Hahaha wow this is the message you recieve if you dare to criticise this persons post with regards to the #PoCecil tag.

They come into the tag with an "Unpopular Opinion" (which is basically code for 'harmful opinion that doesnt affect me'), continue to spam asks in regards to the post despite the fact they outright said they dont actually know about the tag, and apparently any actual criticisms of said "opinion" only results in people apparently "proving" their point??? What a fucking majestic feat of logic here. Makes a post with a baseless point>People point out why point is baseless>Uses as evidence to further baseless point.

You're only proving our point that you are being really fucking harmful and are the one causing issues here. You have no intentions to understand why your opinion is harmful, you are completely and utterly ignoring what people have said to you about the problem of racism within the fandom (which is a FACT and not an "opinion" as poc have been threatened and there are literal white supremecists in this tag), you are willingly choosing to use people's Justified Anger at your harmful "opinion" as "evidence" to prove some incorrect conclusion that you can only arrive at by ignoring the fact racism exists.

Bonus points for saying that fans just whine and are "braying like donkeys" whenever they see something they disagree with, and then have the nerve to send out this horseshit as well as spamming all your bullshit posts because people disagreed with you.

You are just proving the very reason why #PoCecil was created in the first place. Congrats.
