I'm an artist that likes to draw big info sheets of speculative biology topics and fantasy characters.

I stumbled upon this illustration on pinterest while searching for references and it lead me to this Tumblr.

If you're the original artist would you mind If I use this illustration in one of my posters for a comparison between different centaur species? Of course, you will be mentioned as the original artist of this and will not be intended to be used for commercial use whatsoever.

hey guys!! never thought I’d have to say this but please don’t use my art without permission!! This includes tracing over my art, using it in videos, reuploading it on other platforms, or using it as a pfp (without credits, I love when people do this but please atleast put my name somewhere 😭)

I’ve had people trace over my art and tag me in it, put it in videos saying things that I don’t personally agree with, ask me to use my art as a pfp and then do it anyway even though I’ve said before I don’t agree with the stuff the post, and reupload it onto Pinterest without saying my name anywhere?? Even when crediting the person most of these (especially reuploads and opinion posts) should receive some kind of permission from the op 😭

I really appreciate anyone who supports my art and likes it—but please understand that having people use it in places where I don’t want it to be used kinda makes me not want to post it as much. I know none of what I’ve seen has been done specifically to be unkind, but that doesn’t mean anyone should reupload art that isn’t theirs.

As of right now I am only on Tumblr, Artfight, Tiktok, both with the same username you see here!! If you see my art under anyone else’s videos please ask them to take it down and tell me ♥️

I make a point of turning off every permission on every app I use except when absolutely necessary for them to function, in which case I try to set them to "only while in use" rather than "always."

Turns out that doesn't matter.

I just watched a youtube short a few times in a row trying to figure out what song was playing, then I pasued it to open Shazam. I pressed the listen button before I pressed play on the short, but it still told me the title instantly, meaning Shazam was accessing my microphone BEFORE I opened it.

That's fucked up beyond all belief.
