On beginning a journaling and meditation practice

Meow!  I keep intending to write in my paper journal, and I will; however, there is something so gratifying about the instant nature of tumblr, of keys and laptop and reblogs. This tumblr is mostly for personal use: mind, body, spirit growth, sexual and relationship exploration, academic and career highlights.  Today I am feeling hopeful and blessed, about new opportunities in my career. My mind is fluttering with ideas of DBT, Sex Therapy, Mindfulness based therapy, Couples and Family Therapy, and Individual coaching. I want to BE living the kind of life that is a model to my clients, my family, and my friends; practicing intentional living and a spirit of growth and gratitude for all of the lessons that life has to offer.  I'm personally coming out of a difficult time in my relationships, my career, and just finding stability in my new life here in Philadelphia. But I welcome the lessons that life has offered, and am so grateful for the blessings that I have in my life right now. My intentions for today are to complete my Kama Sensual practice for the day, do some self-love and care by giving myself a little 'Spa Day' at home, and then indulging my Ravenclaw with a little retreat into my books.
