Are they musically inclined?
Kamina is not musically-inclined. At all.
Wallace may have dabbled in an instrument at one point in time, long, long ago… But that time is gone, if it ever existed to begin with.
Joel aspired to be a singer before he had his daughter, so he spent a lot of hours practicing away on his guitar. He can still play, if you a) find a guitar for him, and b) hassle him enough to perform for you.

This little guy, his soul brother, Simon. Kamina has limitless praise for him, and it’s only because of Simon that Kamina can keep the act of inspirational bravado and hot-bloodedness going.

♣ - What is one thing that they find embarrassing? (About them, others, things in general)
Though it may seem more of a “berserk button” to others, Kamina can find a lack of conviction or loyalty to be this.
Take, for example, the former members of Team Gurren back down in Jiha Village. They would help Kamina and Simon in the former’s genius hare-brained schemes to break through to the surface, but weasel Kamina out to avoid punishment when they got caught.
Kamina couldn’t bear to associate with that.
