home (thoma x kamisato!reader)
Nations apart, you and Thoma keep in contact via writing each other letters. While he missed Mondstadt dearly, one thing he learnt from his trip is that home is not found in a nation, rather with a person.
And Thoma finds his home in you.

Hello, my liege! How have you, Lord Ayato and Lady Ayaka been? Have you guys been doing alright?
I just wanted to thank you again for giving me the chance to visit Mondstadt! There truly is no place like home. It was so nice being able to just wander around and catch up with my old friends. Do you remember Diluc, my liege? I bumped into him yesterday, and he’s still as charming as ever!
Oh, right. I know that you gave me 2 weeks to stay here, but I’ll be going back to Inazuma with Captain Beidou in 5 days. As much as I love being back here in my childhood nation, I have my responsibilities there.
And even though I’m technically back home, I can’t help but think of the home I have back in Inazuma with you...and my lady and lord too hahah
I’ll see you soon, my liege!
Sincerely,
Thoma

You received the letter a couple days later, stuffed in an envelope double its size and crinkled into a million folds.
"Who is that from, (Y/N)?" You almost jumped out of your skin when Ayaka's suddenly behind you, sneaking a peek at the paper in your hand. She notices Thoma's signature at the bottom and giggles.
Before she could say anything else, you usher her out of your room. When you were sure your sister wasn't going to sneak up on you again, you bring out a pad of paper and a quill with some ink.

Dear Thoma,
I would be lying if I said that I wasn’t delighted to have received a letter from you. I’m glad you’re enjoying your time there. I would’ve preferred if you stayed for the remainder of your trip, but I knew that you would’ve insisted on ending your vacation early regardless. Make the most of your remaining days there, okay?
Also yes, I vaguely remembered you talking about Mr. Ragnvindr. He was all you talked about when you first came here. I must admit, being the owner of a renowned winery was the least I expected of your childhood friend.
Moving on, we have been doing well, but it isn’t the same without you here. Maybe one day I can clear my schedule and visit your childhood nation, but as of now, I’m satisfied with having you by my side.
I'll be waiting for you here at our home, Thoma.
Love,
(Y/N)
Ps. I would also be lying if I said I wasn't glad that you'd come home earlier than expected. I've missed you a lot, my dear.
