When in doubt, take a bite!
Novus didn’t particularly resonate with that part of his partner’s philosophical outlook on life yet here he was, reconciling the uncertainty of where to begin his journey in the Kamura region with an early meal at the Tea Shop. Since bunny dango was new to him, the young chef guided him through the process of putting together a desirable plate.
With each of his hands holding a single skewer ( dotted by three of Yomogi's treats ) at either end, he took a pause when he noticed something in the periphery of his vision. The youthful girl was attempting to hide it but she was full of anticipation, stealing quick glances of him with the corner of her eyes as she worked her store, likely hoping to witness his reaction.
Fortunately for her, Novus was sold even before tasting his meal. Isobe Dango was perfectly what he was looking for. The texture of the cooked rice flour was not so dissimilar to grilled kulu and the soy sauce glaze gave it an appetizing g o l d e n l u s t e r that spoke perhaps of s w e e t e r tones where flavor was concerned. Preferring his protein with a heavy helping of greens, the deep coloration of the seaweed lining these little rondures made his belly receptive to them even before partaking.
He bit into them calmly, taking several careful moments to experience the taste before his expression was lit with contentment. Upon finishing the first skewer, he turned his attention to the girl as he reached for the second one, "I will have ten more. Ten more orders. You may put more than three of them on each skewer if-”
Shrieks of disbelief interrupted the remainder of his statement as his mouth fell slightly agape in shock.
