dUDE both yuffie and vince r so good w/ marlene and denzel but like. they (or at least yuffie so vince just kinda goes w/ it idk) dont want kids and everyone else is just like "u 2 would be such good parents" but yuffie just laughs and is like "nah. NAH. i'll be a cool aunty for the rest of my life thank u" but then there's the whole issue of her needing someone to take her place as ruler of wutai when she dies and i jUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT THIS SHIP AND CHILDREN!!!!!!!!!!!

Lenalee looks up at him at the words. She hadn’t expected to hear them, and certainly not from the boy’s mouth. He’d been like fire, crackling with an anger that she understood but was a bit afraid of, since he’d got to the order, and despite her best and most friendly advances he’d never once tried to be kind to her, until now.

And it was very much appreciated, but she hesitated to accept it, choosing instead to cradle her bandaged wrists to her chest, and guarding with her eyes. This isn’t the first time someone has promised to protect her from the Inspector and his goons. Her words to Kanda are a test of trust, and she mumbles them through the sort of gasps that only come from crying, because they make her feel manipulative.

[[Oh shoot okay, uh, I haven’t beaten the game yet OR gotten too far (I think I last saved in…Dahngrest? After Flynn’s arrest? Hm.) but I’m gonna try this anyway:]]

Genesis was born in Mantaic, a town located on the arid continent of Desier. His father, a wealthy landowner, acted as an emissary-of-sorts between Mantaic and Zaphias, and relocated his family to the Upper Quarter of Zaphias when Genesis was ten years old.

He joined the Imperial Knights around age fifteen, becoming a talented swordmage and rising quickly through the ranks. Genesis specialised mainly in fire magic and was a much sought after blastia ‘tutor’ for the lower ranks. His childhood friend, Angeal Hewley, also moved to Zaphias when he joined the Imperial Knights. The two met and befriended Sephiroth, a prodigious swordsman who had achieved the rank of Lieutenant in only a few short years.

By age 24, the events prior to the Adephagos incident had started to occur. Genesis was stationed on Hypionia, a Commander set to oversee the barely formed settlement of Aurnion, when Commandant Alexei unleashed Zaude and the Adephagos upon the world.
