Back from the dead after over 3 years, the newest cassette Hyper Pollen Temple, released on Elestial Sounds, sees Kane Pour go far beyond the hazy, loopy drones he was known for and reforms with lovely, warm electronica not without the analog warmth but somehow updated with ultra-modern sleek sounds and hi-fi production quality providing us with 25 minutes of summery, almost baroque psych pop sound channels some of those sophisticated Tortoise vibes and frolicking, meticulously crafted melodies.
