TF2 AGERE ONESHOTS
Part one: CG! Sniper x gn little
Possible TW: mention of his gun
“Alright, almost done.” Sniper mumbled as he worked. His trusty rifle was laid across his lap, being cleaned after yet another job. He was finally home, sitting in a lawn chair outside his camper as the sun set. The rest of the team was milling about; they were planning to have a cookout to celebrate a successful mission. Mundy paused his thorough cleaning to inspect his work. Satisfied, he set the rifle aside and leaned back in his chair. He closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of his team, their boisterous presence soothing.
A small tug to his arm had him peeking one eye open.
“Well, hello Mate.” He said, a grin spreading across his face. He already knew exactly who it was. Sure enough, his little one was rocking on their heels beside his chair, stuffed animal in tow. Mundy sat up and stretched.
“Bet you were bored while we were gone, hope ya didn't get up to too much trouble.” They giggled and hid their face behind their plush friend, and Mundy chuckled.
“Cheeky little wallaby. C’mere, I missed ya sweetheart.” He held his arms out, accepting his eager little one into his lap. He held them close, sighing and rubbing circles into their back.
“So, what did you get up to?” He asked. His little didn't answer, nibbling at an apricot shaped teether. Ah, nonverbal today. Mundy smiled softly and kissed their temple.
“No words today? That's alright. Just a little joey, huh?” They giggled, beaming up at Mundy. He cradled them close to his chest, sighing contentedly.
“So, does that make me the Mum? Am I the Mum kangaroo? Maybe I oughta get a pouch to carry you round in. You'd like that, eh? To just be swaddled all day?”
Mundy’s little one babbled at him, chewing at the teether and playing with his sleeve. He sighed and shook his head fondly. So sweet…
Things would be chaos later, as the team converged on their location and Engie would have to hold a very enthusiastic and very regressed Pyro away from the fire pit, but for now all was peaceful. It was just the setting sun, the Sniper, and his cheeky little wallaby.
